A Seaside Holiday in De Haan: Park Atlantis® is a holiday park set within a 10-hectare park, right in the heart of one of the most beautiful regions along the Belgian coast. An oasis of greenery and tranquility, just 800 m from the North Sea and its sandy beach. <br><br>Located just 10 km from Ostend and Blankenberge and 20 km from Bruges.<br>The apartment is located in the Dahlia residence, which is considered the most charming residence in the park. <br><br>You have access to an apartment that can be combined with other apartments. Each apartment offers approximately 70 m² of space and includes a kitchen suitable for up to 8 people, as well as a spacious living room of about 25 m² with an L-shaped sofa that features a full-size built-in bed. There is a bedroom with two bunk beds that can accommodate four people and a second bedroom with a 160-cm double bed. There are two small bathrooms with a shower, toilet, and sink. <br><br>Each apartment features a large terrace on the ground floor. An apartment on the ground floor with a balcony may also be available.<br><br>The furnishings in each apartment are provided for 10 people. There are also extras such as an LCD TV, high-quality stereo system, DVD player, and an electric BBQ... <br><br>Wi-Fi is available in every apartment.<br><br>Each apartment has two spacious parking spaces. <br><br>The cosy courtyard creates a pleasant atmosphere. The spacious terrace of each apartment is furnished with outdoor furniture for 8 people. Adjoining apartments are also available here for groups.<br><br>Rentals are based on an apartment package. This offer consists of two apartments for a group of up to 16 people by combining apartments located close to each other. Combinations with even more apartments are also possible.<br><br>The park offers several recreational options: <br><br>Outdoor Sports and Swimming <br>Park Atlantis features 3 tennis courts, as well as football, volleyball, and basketball courts. In addition, there are two pétanque courts and a large playground. Swimming is available at the nearby public pool operated by the municipalities of De Haan and Bredene. <br><br>Biking, Golf, Fishing, and Horseback Riding<br>This region is known for its interesting biking routes, such as the Oude Dijkenroute. Bicycle racks are available in the park, and there are several shops where you can rent bicycles and go-karts. Within walking distance of the park, you’ll find the famous De Haan golf course, a fishing pond, and the riding stables. The protected dunes feature special trails for horseback riders. <br><br>Hiking<br>The park itself is already inviting for a walk, as it is beautifully landscaped and features several charming spots. The protected dunes have signposted hiking trails. We’d like to mention the well-known Duinbossen Hiking Trail here. There’s a municipal information office right next to the bridge leading to the beach. <br><br>For the little ones<br>The sea isn’t far away, and the gently sloping beach is perfect for children. The quality of the sand encourages children to build sandcastles. There is a small playground within the park itself, as well as a renovated playground in the centre of De Haan. <br><br>Cafeteria<br>Just outside the park, there are family-friendly and speciality restaurants, some serving regional dishes. There are plenty of shopping options near the park. The park features a barbecue area, which is available free of charge to our guests.
