Villa San Defendente

This house of 200m2 located in a raised and closed garden of 1000 m2 offers you a view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Consisting of a large living room and 4 bedrooms, it has an equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms as well as an independent WC. An independent studio constitutes the fifth bedroom and includes a third bathroom.
The garden and the covered outdoor terrace allow you to make the most of your vacation.
The garden, very well exposed, offers you shade for a nap or the sun for a tan. Garden furniture and barbecue await you.
Parking for 2 to 3 cars. Located in a very quiet hamlet there is no problem of traffic, noise or parking.
Ideal for holidays with family or friends, it is the ideal starting point for excursions to the most beautiful Italian lakes (Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta, Lake Lugano, Lake Como) and mountain walks ( Val Grande National Park). Milan is only 1 hour by car or 2 hours by train, Turin an hour and a half by car.

Reservation conditions:
- Security deposit of 500 euros to be returned on arrival when the keys are handed over.
- House dedicated to family stays preferably. We will not welcome groups of friends to organize parties or festive events out of respect for the neighborhood and property.

Beautiful house, well situated

Our group of nine rented this beautiful and comfortable home for one week in July. It is a very large house with tons of space on three floors. It has a well equipped large kitchen, with a large dining room and a nice covered eating area outside. It is next to an old church lit a night, which provides a beautiful ambiance at night. The view from the top floor is very nice with Lago Maggiore and the mountains in the distance. It is easy to walk to the shores of the lake and the center of the small hamlet of Cerro. Laveno is only a few kilometers away by car. There's a separate suite on the second floor of the garage. Perfect for a large gathering and for exploring this beautiful region of northern Italy.

First visit to the lakes

Beautiful property, we really enjoyed our stay. The property is excellent and the local area is stunningly beautiful. Fully equipped kitchen, nice dining tables outdoors and inside, comfortable. Swimming beach and bars/restaurants 5 minutes walk away; a couple more cafes a few minutes further. Easy vehicle access to the property from the main road (it's before the road becomes one-way, so you don't need to go the long way around by the beach). Cerro is a pleasant village, but doesn't really have much of a shop (some essentials are available at Non Solo Caffè); Laveno-Mombello has all commerces including two supermarkets (Tigros, Coop). Things to note: Varese has a strict recycling program, some things are collected every other week. WiFi connection to your device is decent, but very slow connection to internet - no streaming, slow browsing. Washing machine is in the separate garage annex building - no noise in the main building but audible in the annex bedroom. Bring insect repellent in the summer.

Das Haus bietet alles für den perfekten Ausflug mit der Familie und mit Freunden.Die Zimmer sind groß und hell und die Betten in gutem Zustand. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit viel Geschirr und einem Gasherd. Der Wohn- und Essbereich bietet viel Platz um gemeinsam zu essen und zu spielen.Das Highlight ist der sehr sehr grosse und gepflegte Garten mit überdachter Terasse. Es gibt einen Basketballkorb und eine Tischtennisplatte. Der Grill könnte vielleicht mal ersetzt werden.Die Lage des Hauses ist super. Zu Fuß 5 Minuten vom See mit kleinem Strand und dem Dorfzentrum entfernt. In den Hof passen 3-4 Autos.Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern ist unkompliziert und freundlich.Wir würden nochmal kommen.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans une maison très accueillante et fonctionnelle. Un jardin extraordinaire et une chouette petite plage avec bar et restaurant à 10 minutes à pieds.

Hem passat 6 dies en família en aquesta casa. Les habitacions són molt espaioses. Si hi vas amb nins, hi ha molts de jocs.L'espai exterior també és molt agradable. Schöne Lage, Sauberkeit verbesserungsfähig

Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr schön. Man ist schnell fußläufig im Zentrum von Cerro und kann auch mit dem Auto schöne Ausflüge in der Umgebung machen. Auch der Garten ist sehr schön. Leider ist die Sauberkeit des Hauses verbesserungsfähig. Insbesondere die Küche und Bäder waren nicht so sauber wie wir es erwartet hätten (Schmutz unter der WC-Brille, alter Kaffee in der Kaffeemaschine, allgemein nicht so gründlich gereinigt). Zudem ist der Grundriss des Hauses nicht so optimal. Das Bad im Obergeschoss ist nicht vom Flur aus erreichbar und zum Zimmer hin nicht mit einer Tür abschließbar. Darauf könnte in der Beschreibung deutlicher drauf hingewiesen werden.

Super schöner Aufenthalt

Wir haben hier eine tolle Woche verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und groß. Der Garten ist ein Traum. Die Kappelle nebenan Leuten um 7 Uhr in der Früh und um 19 Uhr am Abend. Toller klang. Das Haus ist als Ausgangspunkt perfekt. Es haben 4 Autos im Hof Platz. Wir fühlten uns sehr sicher und können das Haus nur empfehlen.

Tolle Zeit am Lago Maggiore

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Haus am Lago Maggiore über Ostern war fantastisch! Das Haus ist geräumig, toll eingerichtet, sauber und bietet jeglichen Komfort, den man sich wünschen kann. Die Außenanlagen sind wunderschön gepflegt, was unseren Aufenthalt (trotz Regen) noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge und der See bei einem kurzen Spaziergang gut zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief reibungslos, und die gesamte Abwicklung war äußerst professionell. Wir können dieses wunderschöne Ferienhaus weiterempfehlen und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

SUPERBE

Maison familiale avec beaucoup de cachet, a coté de la petite église de San Defendente. Super accueil par Mme Bozena qui explique le fonctionnement de la maison. Tout le monde y a trouvé son bonheur, à l'extérieur avec football, ping pong, badminton, grill, mobilier de jardin, à l'intérieur avec un bel espace, une cuisine bien équipée (lave vaisselle, four, gaz, cafetière etc..) des livres et BD pour tous les goûts, TV, WIFI, jeux. Chauffage central. Parking pour 2 à 3 voitures. Parc fermé par portail électrique. Je recommande cette maison à 100% à un groupe jusqu'à 12 personnes. Quelques chaises supplémentaires à la salle à manger en éviterait le transfert de l'extérieur à l'intérieur quand la température est encore fraiche.

Sommer 2022

Ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Lage und Größe der Villa waren perfekt. Auch Das Örtchen Cerro und die naheliegende „Stadt“ Lambello sind Wunder schön und sicher eine Reise wert. Allein die Einrichtung des Hauses ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte sicher mit etwas Liebe verbessert werden. Es war aber alles da was wir gebraucht haben.
