Thank you for writing this, and for the five bookings that came before it. That history is exactly why this stay matters to us. You are right that the shower and the basin should not have taken two attempts, and we have gone through that with the maintenance team. The cleaning and the worn upholstery have been passed to the owner and to the cleaning company. On the request after the stay: those decisions are looked at case by case and weighed against what was reported while the stay was still running, which is why we always ask guests to tell us at the time rather than afterwards. We know that was not the answer you were hoping for. After five stays we would rather not leave it here, so please do write to us directly and we will go through the whole case again. We are thrilled that everything was perfect for you, the cleanliness, the furnishings, the spacious bedrooms with plenty of wardrobes, the well-equipped kitchen, the perfect mattresses and pillows, and the cosy living room.
