Big Pine is a fantastic 3 Bedroom, 2.5 Bath house, located in the River Wild neighborhood in Mount Bachelor Village. This open concept home has an abundance of light and features 2 master king suites, and a 3rd double queen room to accommodate the whole family. Stainless steel appliances sparkle from the kitchen, where the eating bar opens to the living room, making cooking and gathering an essential part of your stay! Bring your bikes and take advantage of the 2 car garage.

For the outdoor enthusiast, explore the many miles of hiking/biking trails in the surrounding area. The river is just a short distance away. Take a walk or hike on the Deschutes River Trail, and return home for a lovely evening with family and friends while watching the chef prepare dinner out on the gas BBQ. During the summer months, take a short stroll down the street to the community swimming pool (seasonal) to soak in the sunshine or relax in the hot tub (year round).

Lovely Place for a Retreat

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. The open kitchen — with plenty of cooking essentials! — and great room are perfect for a gathering. Comfortable bedrooms, relaxing wraparound deck, gorgeous setting, riverwalk trails nearby. Loved it all.

Family Reunion in Bend

Big Pine was the perfect house for our family gathering. We especially appreciated the accessibility for my elderly parents—just a few steps up from the street to the one-level comfort of the master suite, the spacious living room, kitchen, and lovely porch. The house is just steps away from the pool, but those of us without mobility issues mostly enjoyed accessing the 3-mile river loop on the beautiful Deschutes each day—such beauty so close by! From the neighborhood, it is an easy drive to town for restaurants, shopping, tubing, and concerts. We headed the other direction to see the beautiful High Desert Museum and to explore the Lava River Cave.

Perfect home for our extended family

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house. It accommodated our extended family very well. The common areas and bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, a few more serving bowls in various sizes would have been helpful. Nice location near the pool and river path. We had a great stay!

better than a hotel

This place was amazing! We needed a place to stay on short notice (for a memorial service). The place was immaculate. Only drawback was the garage remote didn't work very well, you had to be directly at the door and hold it for at least 5 seconds before it would work. Would love to use this place again. Big kitchen enough to have guests for a dinner.

Absolutely wonderful

This house was spectacular. Great amenities, comfortable, we loved the extra blankets for watching movies on the couch, streaming apps available on the tv, plenty of bathroom and overall space for 5 adults and 2 kids. Loved the short walking distance to the pool as well as to the Deschutes River trail. Also short driving distance to everything we wanted to in town as well as the nearby lakes. Thank you!

Family & cycling

This is the second time we stayed and enjoyed it just like the first. Nice to have air conditioning for the daytime and all of the windows to open up for the evening. Enjoyed eating outside on the large porch. Would like to have a few more items in the kitchen for cooking(oven mitts, towels, fresh spices & placemats to protect the tables and bar). Will definitely return.

Great getaway in the Spring

This is a great property in an ideally located development on the outskirts of Bend right on both the Deschutes River Trail (great for hiking/jogging) and the Rim Rock trail (great for riding). It's minutes from great breweries and restaurants, and has a great community hot tub (pool closest to us was closed). The house has a deep garage that we made use of to store our boat, with still ability to park two cars outside. The house has great amenities for cooking, and as a family that likes to cook this was a really easy kitchen to cook in. It has an electric outdoor grill, which is my only negative comment (except we brought a small gas one). The outdoor furniture and dining table were ideal. We can't say enough great things about this location and this house in particular!

Everything was great except…

Everything was great, except the garage door remote didn’t work, nor did the keypad. This meant when we arrived, we had to walk around to the front door, walk through the house and open the garage door from the inside (and vice versa when we left). While the house itself was great, the garage door situation was quite inconvenient. Would definitely stay again, if we knew this problem had been taken care of.

Pleasant Pine

This 3BR, 2-1/2 BA home was spacious & clean in a quiet, attractive neighborhood. The house was well supplied- lots of cooking utensils. We enjoyed our stay & will consider this rental if we return to Bend. Only disadvantages of this rental: 1) Lots of stairs. We were 5 seniors over age 75. There were 16 stairs to the 2nd floor, and and another 16 to the basement garage. 2) No garbage can. We had to carry kitchen trash to garbage cans by the swimming pool one block away. 3) Confusion about check-in time: Web site indicated 3PM check-in, confirmation indicated 4PM. I called rental company, and they allowed us to check-in around 3:30P.

Lovely Stay

This property is a gem! We loved the close proximity to activities, restaurants, shopping. The home is incredibly comfortable and stocked well with necessities. We loved spending time in the front porch watching the colorful sunsets, and enjoyed cooling off at the pool which is super close to the house.

Perfect Winter Setting

Came to visit our newly married daughter and son in-law. Brought our two teenage nephews w us. Perfect location for snowboarding at Mt. Bachelor. What an amazing mountain; boys were in awe! They were able to hike/bike early mornings and we never worried for their safety. Setting is perfect... it snowed off/on entire week. Beautiful to watch snow fall in the trees all around. Unit is located right across from the pool/hot tub (which we didnt realize was actually open until our last day). House had all utensils needed to cook with. Made all our meals at home, so this was important. Kitchen even had things like garbage bags, saran wrap, foil, oils and spices which is helpful when staying at an air bnb. Items add up quickly when having to purchases new and then you're left with leaving them behind or throwing out. Biggest complaints about the home are: the pillows are in serious need of replacement! No support at all! Everyone in our group complained about this. No Keurig, but they offer an old fashioned coffee pot with bean grinder. Family games were seriously lacking. Dont even think we came across a deck of cards. The lighting needs to be updated. Home is kinda dark, especially on rainy/snowy days, And, my pet pee... no full length mirror. Why is this always an issue? Other than that, home was very comfortable and a delight to stay in. Lastly, management was quick to reply to any issues that arose. Would definitely consider returning. Thank you!

Nice rental by Mt Bachelor

This place was a perfect location for our ski vacation. Close to Mt Bachelor ski area and the Deschute River trail. Plenty of space for our family of four. It had everything we needed to cook our own meals and when we wanted to eat out it was a short drive into downtown Bend. Really appreciated the drying rack for our gloves and boots. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Excellent House

This was the perfect house for our after Christmas vacation with our adult children and their spouses. The location, within easy drive to Mt Bachelor, was perfect for our ski days. It’s also close to many good restaurants. The house itself is perfect with a large kitchen/family area with fireplace. The house is across the street from the pool and community center. The kitchen is very well equipped. It was short of wine glasses but I mentioned it to the property manager and we had new glasses within hours. The property manager kept in touch to see if we had any questions or issues before and during our stay. They are stellar and we hope to rent from them again.

Great Thanksgiving

Rooms were spacious. Location was excellent, ~15 mins from snow play area and less mins to downtown. Everything we needed for a Thanksgiving meal was there. Didn’t check out the pool area because it was winter but we could walk to the river in 5 minutes. So much to do, we would love to come back and stay longer.
