Beautiful house, great views

We have had a great stay at the house. The house was perfect. We stayed in the middle of the summer, so it was hot and the house has airco in the livingroom and bedrooms. Very welcome!! The pool was clean and checked during our stay. And I must honestly say, the beds were super! This is the first time since a lot of vacations that I was sorry to go home because I had a great bed. The only thing I would have wanted to know is the road to the house. I was so happy we had an automatic car, the road is narrow, steep and with a lot of holes. But the views made that feeling go away immediatly. Thank you for having us.... we loved it!

Beautiful location with a fantastic pool.

We absolutely loved Francisco’s holiday villa, it was clean and very welcoming with a fantastic pool, my family and I enjoyed the pool immensely. The bedrooms were great with very comfortable and clean matresess and the bathrooms were well set out with an en suite next to the master bedroom. Francisco was very easy to communicate with and was always quick to respond to our original queries and even checked how we were getting on halfway through our trip. We absolutely loved the view over zahara and the mountains, the sunsets were just incredible! Such a great base to explore the white hill villages off this region, a highlight being the village of Setenil, well worth a visit. Thanks for letting us stay at your lovely villa Francisco especially as it was all fairly short notice due to being let down by another property owner in the area, you helped make our holiday very special, hope to be back soon!! La localización y acceso es penoso. Nos mandó un archivo PDF en inglés para seguir una serie de indicaciones y fue imposible llegar por lo que tuvo que llevarnos asta allí.Desde que se deja la carretera, empiezas por un camino malísimo por lo que no es recomendable ir si no tiene un buen vehículo.Una vez allí, de las mejores cosas que tiene son las vistas, aunque le recomendaría cortar le vegetación que se encuentra enfrente de la piscina ya que actualmente no se ve el embalse.Referente a la vivienda, decir que todo está bastante bien y bien equipada aunque le recomiendo que las puertas de las habitaciones las revise ya que cierran muy mal.Estuvimos una semana y la piscina no se limpio ningún día, nada más que lo que pudimos hacer con la red. La depuradora solamente estaba un pequeño rato al día.Se pueden hacer una idea de como estaba el fondo después de que el viento se levantaba todos los días y la depuradora era inexistente. Si quieren tranquilidad, aquí lo van a tener ya que no apetece bajar por el camino tan desastroso que existe.

Gracias por tus recomendaciones, las tendremos en cuenta. El embalse se ve poco ya que, por la sequía, se encuentra al 20%. En el video que colgamos en junio de 2025 se puede ver que tenemos rebajada la vegetación en la zona del embalse y se ve todo lo que se puede ver debido a su actual nivel bajo de agua. La depuradora está programada, en diversos tramos horarios, un total de 7 horas diarias, lo cual es suficiente para mantenerla clorada y transparente. Evidentemente, el fondo hay que limpiarlo a mano y lo hacemos una vez por semana, pero, si nos hubieras dicho que un viento ha arrastrado tierra y el fondo está mal, si ningún tipo de problema, se hubiese ido a limpiarla entre semana. Ya lo hemos hecho en otras ocasiones con otros clientes. En cuanto a las instrucciones, no tuve inconveniente en ir a recogeros y llevaros a la casa, pero recordarás que por varias veces te insistí (también por escrito en el WhatsApp) que las comenzaras en un punto inicial (cuyo enlace te envié al móvil) que NO se han de seguir desde el pueblo... pues bien, me llamaste cuando no encontrabas la casa porque habías seguido las instrucciones desde el pueblo y no ibas por el camino correcto. Todo el mundo pone el navegador desde el punto de encuentro y les lleva sin problemas. Además os mandamos a todos unas instrucciones con fotos y referencias en un PDF.

Eine sehr durchwachsene Unterkunft. Erstmal das positive. Der Ausblick war klasse. Und keine fremden Leute, die Einblicke auf das Grundstück haben. Jetzt aber mal zu den unangenehmen bzw. Verbesserungswürdigen Sachen. Es gibt keine Schränke, in die man Kleidung legen kann. Nur eine Kleiderstange. Geht einfach nicht. Das Doppelbett ist mit 150cm und seinen ziemlich harten Matratzen für 2 Erwachsenen nebeneinander ungeeignet. Die zu dunkle Einrichtung, wurde weiß gestrichen. Wahrscheinlich mit der falsche Farbe, da sie an einigen Stellen schon abgenutzt und an anderer Stelle noch klebrig war. Die Badezimmer waren für ihren Zweck in Ordnung. Lediglich wäre ein höherer Wasserdruck schön gewesen. Die Küche hatte fast alles, was man braucht. Außer eine Filterkaffeemaschine. Der Kühlschrank: Eine abgebrochenes Türfach wurde wieder angeklebt. Da wird es einfache mal Zeit, für einen neuen. Wir waren 6 Personen. Am Anfang waren nur 6 Messer und 6 Gabeln vorhanden. Erst nach ein paar Tagen kam Nachschub. Der Pool wurde nur lieblos gereinigt. Immer Dreck am Boden. Das Schlimmste: die Zufahrt besteht aus einem Schotterweg. Recht und links Sträucher und Pflanzen die das Auto zerkratzen. Den Vermieter gebeten die Pflanzen zu schneiden. Nichts passiert. Für den Preis wird hier einfach zu wenig investiert. Grob kann man sagen, was für zu Hause nicht mehr gut genug ist, kommt in die Finca. Für Urlauber reicht es noch.

Hola, lamento no haber llegado a tus expectativas con nuestro alojamiento. La empresa a la que encargo el desbroce de los laterales del camino este año ha tardado mucho en hacerlo (hace 2 semanas) y les insistí cuando me presentaste tus quejas pero aún así tardó unos días en hacer el trabajo. En cuanto al equipamiento, cada año intentamos mejorar en lo posible. Este año hemos cambiado los colchones e instalado aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones. Y tras comprobar contigo que la puerta de la nevera no estaba al 100% hemos adquirido una nevera nueva (también una lavadora) para que, al menos, los próximos clientes se vean beneficiados de tus comentarios. Seguiremos mejorando!!

Haus in wunderschöner Lage

Wir genossen die tolle Lage mit imposanten Sonnenuntergängen. Francisco ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter, freundlicher Gastgeber. Er liess sogar den Pool für uns frühzeitig reinigen und besorgte eine Kaffeekapselmaschine für die Küche.

Preciosa casa tal como se anuncia

La estancia ha sido fabulosa. La casa está genial, piscina maravillosa, dormitorios y baños muy bien, pero demasiado calor de noche en los dormitorios. Aunque haya ventiladores, es imprescindible la instalación de aire acondicionado o mosquiteras para mantener las ventanas abiertas.
