The location was ideal for travelers with an interest in nature, particularly for those interested in birds of prey, with vultures, a variety of eagles, kites, and hawks all visiting the valley on a daily basis. The villa is also conveniently located for Ronda (20 mins by car), Jerez (75 mins) and Seville (90 mins). Likewise some very pretty pueblo blancos are close by, particularly Olvera (15 mins), Setenil de las Bodegas (40 mins), El Gastor (5 mins), Zahara de la Sierra (10 mins). The reservoir that the villa overlooks also offers kayaking for the adventerous
