The Stables was clean, quiet and well equipped for our stay. We enjoyed the privacy and the tree lined street to get to our place. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. We loved using the washer and electric dryer.
This was the perfect place to bring our future son in-law to get his taste of beautiful rural England . We have lived in Australia for 30 years and organised a wonderful family reunion in Lynleys beautiful converted stables.Lynley was so helpful with all our organisations and nothing was too much for her . The peace and quiet and fabulous walks from the back of the property were amazing . I would definitely recommend this property
We had such a lovely time at the stables, it had everything we needed including high chair, travel cot and off road buggy for our 9 month old. A massive plus was the totally enclosed garden for our two dogs, one is very nervous and reactive and this was his first stay away from home. The quiet surroundings and private feel was perfect, and the woods on the door step was very handy. The outdoor bath was lovely and having a gas BBQ was a big plus. Hosts were great and gave advice on walks too, and the king size bed was extremely comfortable! I have already recommended this place to friends!
This place was exactly what we needed. Even in February, which is not the most pleaant of months, this was a glorious spot. Lovely and quiet, with great views of the stars. Best of all, it is located within walking distance of some great pubs amid gorgeous countryside. The accommodation is spotless, comfortable, and well laid out. The outdoor bath is great fun and a really nice touch. We would definitely recommend this place and will be back again to enjoy it ourselves.
Beautifully appointed property. The general location was lovely but the final approach is on a rough lane. It is ok as long as you drive slowly. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The purpose of the stay was to promote wellbeing for a family member who has been suffering from depression. The green and peaceful location plus the outside bath certainly hepled in that regard.
