About this property

Traditional Greek house with direct access to a lovely beach at 250 m

This charming house of 90 sqm, fully renovated in the traditions of the island, is located on a beautiful plot of 3000 sqm planted with at least forty olive trees. It has a direct access to the Glisteri beach at only 250 m walking distance.

Upon arrival you will discover two beautiful large terraces.
The first is the solarium with sunbeds and an outdoor shower. The second terrace, partly shaded by a beautiful olive tree, has two garden tables with two charming stone benches of 5 and 4 meters long on each side. They are covered with comfortable tailored cushions where you can take a nap after a good meal with a nice sea breeze.
At night, you can see the beautiful starry sky and maybe you will have the chance to see the most beautiful shooting stars.

Our house consists of a ground floor with a nice kitchen, fully equipped with a traditional decoration original oven - a shower room with toilet and a corner sink - oakwood dining table which can accommodate up to 6 people - a beautiful cozy lounge - a lovely bedroom with double bed and a large bathroom with italia style shower and toilet.

The ground floor is fully accessible for people with reduced mobility.

Upstairs you will find a very nice room, very spacious (30 sqm) with a nice sea view and beautiful typical Skopelos' wooden roof. It has two to four very comfortable & good quality single beds with the possibility to make double beds with them.

This house is particularly pleasant for its freshness with stone walls over 60 cm thick.

Ideally located at a walking distance of the beautiful beach of Glisteri and 10 minutes by car or motorbike to the village of Skopelos. Enjoy this special place where you will be happy to share good times with family or friends in the middle of nature.

This is a fantastic house, secluded and quiet area, yet super convenient location and walking distance to the very nice beach. Jean was so wonderful and helpful with giving many info and tips for our stay. He went above and beyond. My family and I felt in love with this charming and cozy house.

Perfect location, lovely house

We had a fantastic stay. Jean-Paul could not have been more helpful, accommodating our last second booking, advising us on the ferry, car hire and getting to the house. The location is perfect, just 10 mins drive from the main town, but in a lovely peaceful private location, just a few minutes walk from beautiful Glisteri beach. The house is lovely, a converted barn set in an old olive grove. There are hammocks and sun loungers, outdoor seating and everything you could need for the beach including a beach umbrella, beach toys and beach towels. There are many things to do on Skopoles including visiting the many lovely beaches and tavernas and the ‘Mamma Mia’ movie filming locations. Although you can easily spend the week at the house and on the beach! This house is a really lovely, clean, comfortable place to stay that we all loved (children aged 4-11) and we would highly recommend it.

Wonderful!

Wow! What a magical place to stay!! This little oasis is really in the countryside and if you don’t want to leave it gives you access to the beach, food and drinks with the Glysteri Beach bar just a minute walking distance (extremely friendly staff; we made friends with everyone and they were fabulous). The drive to anywhere on the island is easy (we explored all areas and it was a convenient drive back to the home base), and Skopelos Town is convenient to get to for a nice meal if you want to go out on the town (highly recommend the last restaurant all the way at the end of the port; the one that started in the 1890’s). The house was jam-packed with all of the amenities you could want (from snorkels and beach gear to cooking items to a high chair for the little one) and how wonderful to have a lemon tree right out your door. The owners were awesome and very supportive. We brought our 14-month old and they got a baby gate built at the bottom of the stairs to support with safety. Amazing place to stay. I’d recommend it to anyone!

Nous avons passe un très bon séjour dans cette maison très agréable située à quelques mètres a pied de la belle plage de Glisteri. La maison est une construction traditionnelle aui a été rénovée en respectant son âme et son authenticité. Le confort thermique est étonnant, il n y a pas de climatisation mais la maison reste fraîche malgré la chaleur et tiède quand l air rafraîchit le soir. L environnement est magnifique: un vallon un peu isolé couvert d oliviers et de forêts ou nous avons croisé plusieurs animaux sauvages (daim, belettes et hérissons, sans compter les inévitables biquettes et les chats grecs). Il y a un bar de plage à proximité qui diffuse de la musique en journée mais le volume sonore reste acceptable et le matin et en fin de journée tout comme la nuit l endroit est parfaitement serein et silencieux. Une maison pleine de caractère dans laquelle nous aurons plaisir à revenir un jour je l espère !

La maison est très agréable. Terrasse magique, en particulier le soir quand tout devient calme (en saison, le beach bar de la plage de glysteri met de la musique entre 9:00 et 20:00). On dort très bien (t bonne literie)La vaisselle est tres jolie et la cuisine est bien équipée.La grande chambre a coucher au 1er étage est très spacieuse et a des vues magnifiques. Elle n'est pas fermée par une porte, ce qui la rend ouverte aux bruits du RDC et peut manquer dintimité. La salle d'eau WC ouvre sur la cuisine, difficile donc d'utiliser le wc qd la cuisine est utilisée.La maison est a 10 min en voiture de glysteri (attention, une pente ardu pour revenir de glysteri et a 30-40 min de l'autre côte de l'île et de ses plages.Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et communiquent très bien. Sur place, Nathalie, le contact local, parle francais.En conclusion, ce fut un excellent séjour!

Oltre le aspettative

Abbiamo trascorso 3 settimane di agosto in questa casa arredata con ottimo gusto e dotata di ogni comfort: dagli accessori per la casa (lavastoviglie, ferro da stiro) al necessario per la spiaggia: ombrellone, maschere, pinne etc etc. La casa è circondata da un bellissimo giardino di ulivi dove trascorrere ore di relax leggendo un libro sdraiato sulle amache, prendendo il sole o giocando a ping-pong. A pochi metri di distanza si trova la spieggia di Glysteri, non la più bella dell'isola, ma sicuramente una bella spiaggia. Skopelos, la città principale, è a meno di 10 minuti di macchina e lì si possono trovare tutti i servizi: pescherie, ristoranti, supermercati (l'auto è indispensabile). Proprietari molto gentili e attenti alla serenità degli ospiti

Nous avons passé un fantastique séjour dans cette villa, rénovée avec beaucoup de goût, perdue au milieu des oliviers et à quelques centaines de mètres d'une très jolie plage de galets, avec peu de monde même au mois de juillet et de jolis fonds pour le snorkelling. La maison est hyper bien équipée, avec même à disposition tout le nécessaire pour la plage : masques, tubas, serviettes, palmes,chaussures d'eau, raquettes .. L'emplacement est un peu isolé, donc une voiture de location est indispensable, mais cela permet une déconnexion totale, sans aucun vis à vis, au coeur de la nature. Dans la journée, la musique du restaurant de la plage offre un fond sonore que nous avons, pour notre part, trouvé très agréable, mais à partir de 20 heures, il n'y a plus que les bruits de la nature pour contempler les étoiles ! Cerise sur le gâteau , le propriétaire est adorable et très disponible, de même que Nathalie qui était là pour nous accueillir et nous faciliter la vie autant que possible . Et tous deux parlaient parfaitement français, ce qui a été hyper agréable pour nous. Bref, vraiment rien à redire sur cet hébergement, qui a totalement répondu à nos attentes.

Maison de caractère très bien aménagée, propre avec tout le confort, dans un très bel endroit planté d'oliviers et à 2 pas de la mer. Cependant le bar de la plage situé à 150m de la maison diffuse de la musique de 10h du matin à 20h parfois plus tard selon les jours, que l'on entend de la maison. la plage est noyée sous la musique en permanence, il est impossible d'en profiter. Cela n'est pas indiqué dans l'annonce (il est juste indiqué "plage animée...". C"est vraiment dommage compte tenu du paysage idyllique environnant.

Seit vielen Jahren machen wir Urlaub in Ferienhäusern. Diesmal war es einfach perfekt. Das Haus liebevoll renoviert inmitten alter Olivenbäume. Die Fotos stimmen 100% mit dem Objekt überein. Es gibt einmal in der Woche frische Handtücher und die Betten wurden neu bezogen. Badeschuhe und Flossen in vielen Größen vorhanden-auch Strandtücher! In der Nacht ist es total ruhig, in der Früh hört man Krähen oder die Ziegen. Die Strandbar nicht ganz billig, aber die Qualität sowohl vom Essen als auch von den Cocktails stimmig. Als Bewohner des Hauses zahlten wir nichts für die Liegen und Thassos, der Barbesitzer ist ein sehr großzügiger, interessanter Typ. Die Musik in der Bar ist vielleicht jenen, die die totale Abgeschiedenheit suchen, zu laut - für uns und unsere Teenager-Kids perfekt. Der DJ ist ein eigenes Thema🥰 Wir werden sicher wieder kommen!

Skopelos ist eine Reise wert und das hübsche Haus lädt zum bleiben ein! Es liegt abgelegen in einem Tal mit schönem Strand ist aber nur 5 Minuten mit dem Auto von Skopelos Stadt entfernt. Der Garten hat viele schattige Plätze unter den uralten Olivenbäumen, das Haus ist hübsch und mit allen nötigen eingerichtet und den 100 Meter entfernten Strand erreicht man schnell zu Fuß über einen Steinweg aus dem Garten. Von dem Zitronenbaum neben der Küche bekamen wir jeden Tag eine frische Frucht!

Ferien in Skopelos

Das Ferienhaus ist an einer wunderschönen Lage und bietet Alles was man braucht. Der Garten ist riesig und die Kinder konnten sich wunderbar draussen austoben. Auch im Haus drinnen hat es an Nichts gefehlt. Für die Kinder hatte es sogar verschiedene Spielsachen im Haus für Drinnen und Draussen (Instrumente, Bücher,Bälle, Tischtenniszubehör, Schwimmnudel, Sandeimer etc.) Es ist wunderschön eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Der sehr nahegelegene Strand ist schön, wir sind da allerdings nur zweimal baden gegangen, da die Musik der Beachbar eher laut ist und die Liegestühle recht teuer sind. Wir können dieses Objekt wirklich sehr empfehlen

Die Seele baumeln lassen in Skopelos

Wir waren im April da, alles blühte wundervoll, nich nicht ganz Strand temperaturen, wir waren trotzdem baden in der wunderschönen Bucht. Das Haus konnte man gut heizen für die kühlen Nächte. Eine wunderschöne Insel, es scheinen nur nette Menschen auf Skopelos zu wohnen. Jean-Paul und die Verwalterin vor Ort waren sehr nett, es war alles Perfekt.

Schmuckkästchen in Traumbucht

Die Vormieter haben schon das Meiste gesagt. Ergänzen möchte ich noch, daß die Details dieser hochwertig restaurierten Unterkunft auch sehr durchdacht sind. So sind zum Beispiel in die sehr schönen Holzfenster herunterroll- und fixierbare Fliegengitter integriert. Eine schöne und praktikable Lösung. Nachts können die Fenster und Schlafzimmertüren geöffnet bleiben und morgens stört weder optisch noch praktisch etwas den Traumblick. Insgesamt wurde hier auch bei den Details auf Qualität geachtet (Koch- und Essgeschirr, Badezimmerarmaturen; Böden, Möbel etc.). In der Küche fehlt es an Nichts, Erstmals überhaupt habe ich in einer Ferienunterkunft ein wirklich scharfes Kochmesser vorgefunden. :) Auch in dem gemütlichen Wohnzimmer kann man schön sitzen, reden und essen und es fällt einem auch tagsüber bei Regentagen nicht die Decke auf den Kopf. Die Betreuung vor Ort und per "Signal" Chat durch die Gastgeber ist perfekt. Vielen Dank nochmal für die traumhafte Zeit!

Très jolie maison près d'une plage branchée

Très jolie maison parfaitement équipée avec une décoration très soignée. Le grand jardin, que nos enfants ont adoré explorer, est rempli de grands oliviers et d'arbres fruitiers. L'accès a la plage est très facile. Accueil parfait et très grande disponibilité des propriétaires qui se font tout pour que le séjour se passe au mieux. A SAVOIR: la plage est occupée par un bar qui met de la musique très forte entre 12h et 19/20h et qui malheureusement s'entend très nettement depuis le jardin..pas de sieste dans le hamac au bruit des grillons possible! Nous aurions aimé le savoir car ce n'était pas ce que nous recherchions.

Séjour en famille au mois d'août à Glisteri plage

Nous avons séjourné en famille fin août dans la maison de Jean-Paul et Brigitte. Elle est idéalement située par rapport à la plage de Glisteri, qui s'avère être une des plus branchée de l'île. Pouvoir accéder comme bon vous semble est un luxe ultime en période pleine. Maison très bien tenue et rénovée avec goût. On sent que les propriétaires ont une relation sentimentale avec la maison et qu'ils y séjournent régulièrement. Des personnes sur place gèrent l'intendance avec une grande efficacité, nous avons eu une requête qui a été traitée dans un temps record ! Bonne literie, double vitrage avec moustiquaires à toutes les fenêtres, jolie salle de bain et cuisine bien équipée. Jardin spacieux d'Oliviers pour la carte postale. L'Ile est superbe et ça vaut certainement le coup de profiter de cette location en dehors des vacances scolaires pour ceux qui n'ont pas d'enfants. Le printemps ou l'automne doivent être magnifiques.

Das Haus befindet sich in einer sehr ruhigen und traumhaften Lage. Der 200m entfernte Glisteri Strand wurde neu aufgemacht. Dadurch ist ab und zu Musik von der Beachbar zu hören. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es ist alles vorhanden. Erholsamer Urlaub auf einer sehr schönen Insel und einer Top Unterbringung. Würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen.

Maison idéalement située : isolée au milieu d’un vallon et à 200 m de la mer à 10 minutes du village

La maison est simple et très bien aménagée : rien ne manque. La terrasse est fantastique, abritée du soleil pour les repas. Silence total. Quelques moutons et chèvres, les oliviers, la mer au bout du chemin qui prend au fond du jardin. Le village pour les courses et les restaurants est à 10 minutes. L’ile elle même est très préservée. Nous avons tout aimé. Pas de défaut. Les propriétaires sont au bout du mail en cas de question et la personne qui accueille sur place est adorable. Nous y étions à 2 couples et la maison est parfaitement dimensionnée pour cela. Nous avons été enthousiasmés.

Très belle maison du pays au fond d'une baie verte et tranquille

Nous avons passé 2 semaines merveilleuses, la maison est très bien conçue et rénovée. Celle-ci permet tout au long de la journée de profiter soit de la chaleur soit d'un ombrage salvateur en été, jardin grand ou l'ombre joue au grès des feuilles d'olivier. L'aménagement et les fournitures sont un vrais plus ( palmes masque tubas, chaussons de plages et table de ping-pong raquette etc.;) une surprise qui a fortement plu à nos enfants. La localisation à l'écart des plages touristiques vous permet une tranquillité hors pair, l'accès au village est assez simple en voiture (15 min) et l'accueil sur place souriant et disponible est à noter. La tranquillité bucolique d'une Grèce encore un peu rurale ( les chèvres au bord du jardin) et l'attractivité d'un port balnéaire à taille humaine.

Etwas abgelegen vom sonstigen Trubel liegt diese Oase der Ruhe. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Im Haus und im großen Garten haben wir alles vorgefunden, was den Urlaub noch angenehmer macht. Das Haus ist für unser Empfinden wunderschön ausgestattet und traumhaft gelegen. Technisch auf einem einwandfreien Stand. Die kleine Bucht ist über einen kurzen Fußmarsch schnell zu erreichen. Die Anmietung eines Fahrzeuges notwendig, um das Haus zu erreichen und sich zu versorgen. Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit und stehen jederzeit für Rat und Unterstützung über den kurzen Draht zur Verfügung. Für Menschen, die einmal ganz abschalten möchten, ist es sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen lieben Dank für diese wunderschönen Tagen, mir ist es schwer gefallen, abzureisen.

Calme et beauté

Dès notre arrivée dans cette petite crique on sait que l'on va s'y plaire et passer d'excellentes vacances reposantes. Accueillis par les cigales, pas une voiture, des montagnes de pins, la belle maison est entourée d'oliviers. Mais la beauté ne se limite pas aux extérieurs. Digne de figurer dans une revue de déco : bravo Brigitte! Belles plongées également. Excellentes vacances. Nous recommandons +++

Why they chose this property

We discovered the island during our vacation in May 2010. We were immediately enchanted. We dreamed of a second home in a magical place and we fell in love with this old building of the 20s with its huge field filled with olive trees. We completely renovated the house respecting the traditions of the island. We now want you to discover it.

What makes this property unique

The beach is at walking distance of the house : 250 meters with direct flat access to it. The house is a stone made house with thick walls that keep it fresh during summer time. It was renovated respecting local tradition. The garden is flat, fenced and covered with centenary olive trees. You will be delighted by the silence and the starry nights. Our home is accessible to disabled persons and arranged so that you feel at home.
