Good sized, one bedroom apartment in a quiet neighborhood, next to a park. There are grocery stores within walking distance, but the apartment also includes secure parking off the street if you have a car. A few minutes walk to the tram system, in case you will be using the extensive public transport system Bordeaux enjoys.

Bordeaux visit

The property ideal as a base to venture out, it was however veŕy noisy in the evenings and into the night on a few occasions. If you couple the noise with the hot weather and open windows it leads to some disturbed sleep. There was plenty of space and the apartment was well equipped with a very good shower etc.

Eine empfehlenswerte sonnige Wohnung.

Ich habe in der Wohnung von Sophie 8 Wochen gebucht und 7 gewohnt.Ich hatte einen guten Eindruck von der Gastgeberin, die die ganze Zeit mit mir im Kontakt war und mich persönlich eingecheckt hat.Die Wohnung ist sehr hell. Hat eine wundervolle Lage. Man kann fast alles zu Fuß erreichen. Der Blick aus den Fenstern ist zwar auf die Hofwand, aber man sieht die Bäume vom Park und hört Vögel, was auch sehr nett war. Außerdem befinden sich die Fenster so, dass man links den Sonnenaufgang sieht, den ganzen Tag Sonne hat und rechts den Sonnenuntergang sehen kann.Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht (auch wenn die Pfannen und Töpfe nicht im besten Zustand sind). Aber alles andere ist in Ordnung.Die Matratze ist bequem (halbweich). Ich war etwas überrascht, dass die Bettwäsche nicht inklusive waren (ich hatte Wahl zwischen eigene mitnehmen und mieten für 30. Ich hatte eigene mitgenommen), aber so ist es wohl in Frankreich.Der Fernseher war etwas älter und sehr langsam, hatte aber Netflix usw. WLAN war in Ordnung, ich konnte problemlos online Meetings durchführen.Die Wohnung ist ziemlich hellhörig, ich habe Fernseher bei den Nachbarn gehört und die Schritte, aber es war in Ordnung und hat mich nicht gestört.Was ich nicht ganz verstanden habe, war die Anzahl an Stuhlen. Es waren die Couch, 2 Barstühle, ein kleiner Sessel, ein Hocker und 7 (!) Stühle. Insgesamt 11 Sitzgelegenheiten die Couch. Es lässt die Wohnung zugestellt aussehen und stört, ich hatte dann die Hälfte der St

Impression mitigée

Les + : Appartement très bien situé, au calme, résidence avec ascenseur, cuisine très bien équipée, internet fibre, douche neuve. Les - : Contrairement à ce qu'indique l'annonce, la literie n'est pas du tout récente, loin de là. Canapé et bout de canapé particulièrement sales, aucune isolation, électricité pas aux normes, chasse d'eau défectueuse. Précision: Linge de lit et de toilette non-fourni.

Je vous remercie d avoir pris le temps pour laisser cette appréciation. Pour répondre aux points négatifs : La facture de chauffage est entièrement à ma charge donc l isolation n impacte pas les locataires. Les travaux d isolation débutent d ailleurs cette fin de semaine . L électricité est aux normes mais un interrupteur n a pas de fonction. C est avéré. Le canapé va être changé, je m excuse de ce désagrément que je vous avait mentionné.un couvre lit très propre recouvrait le canapé. La chasse d eau est défectueuse et je vais changer le mécanisme. il n est pas indiqué sur l' annonce que le linge de maison est fourni. Je l avais précisé par SMS avant votre arrivée. Logement spacieux pour 2 personnes, bien équipé et bien situé.

Le logement est calme car il donne sur le parking intérieur. On peut rejoindre le centre ville à pied en 25 min et l'arrêt de tram se trouve à 10 min.le parking privé est un gros plus vu les difficultés de stationnement dans Bordeaux. Accueil sympathique et efficace nous donnant les principaux renseignements sur la ville. Très bonne impression

L'appartement est conforme à sa description, très calme et pas très loin du centre historique de la ville. Nous sommes allés plusieurs fois à pied au centre de Bordeaux en passant par le très beau jardin publique. Le parking privé est un plus.

nice and cozy

My partner and I spent a week in early September at Sophie's comfortable flat. It is located in a quiet area, the windows look onto a park and so it was wonderful to open the windows at night and feel the cool breeze after warm and sunny days in and around Bordeaux. The flat has a bathroom and separate toilet, a bedroom and a combined living room / kitchen with two tables and a large sofa. Kitchen is well equipped and we found everything we needed in an instant. There is even a hairdryer in the bathroom - just perfect! We enjoyed the walking-distance to Bordeaux-Centreville as you pass by charming houses and many interesting shops. But of course the next bakery and supermarkets are close by and several busses take you to the city, to the airport and to the train station. As most lines have a service every ten minutes during the day, it is very easy to go to several directions from the flat. We tried more than one line to the centre and they all were quick to reach and didn't take long to arrive at Quinconce, even Gare St. Jean has a direct connection (which takes a little longer). For travellers who like a more quite place to stay this flat is just the right one. Sophie was very helpful and answered all our questions quickly and with patience regarding our poor French (her English is perfect, so communication never was any kind of problematic) and was taking good care of us on the day of our arrival. As long as we stayed we could reach her, but were very happy on our own in the flat. So all in all: it is a nice and cosy place, we were very happy there and might come back - both Bordeaux and the flat suited us very, very well. Merci Sophie!
