At the end of a long meandering lane deep within the Black Mountains lies this enchantingly remote self-catering hideaway, sure to charm and delight small groups hoping to immerse themselves in the beautiful wilderness of Wales' Brecon Beacons National Park. Only a few miles away from the characterful town of Crickhowell, there is plenty see and do in close reach of this luxurious mountain retreat.

The Space:
Upon entering Llewenau Draw, you’ll be greeted by a spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining area. Fitted with a comfortable sofa, flat screen TV, and coffee table, you’ll be able to make yourself right at home here.

The kitchen at Llewenau Draw has an electric oven with hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer.

With seating for four guests, the dining table is the perfect spot to enjoy hearty home-cooked meals with your loved ones.

In Llewenau Draw, there are two bedrooms – one double and one twin room which is ideal for children and teenagers.

In the family bathroom, you’ll find a bathtub with overhead shower, WC and wash basin for your convenience.

The offering at Llewenau Draw doesn’t end inside. Head outside and you’ll be able to emerse yourself in the stunning surroundings when enjoying the on-site outdoor amenities including a patio and outside furniture if you fancy a spot of alfresco dining during your stay.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Llewenau Draw are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to your arrival.

Private on-site parking is available for up to two vehicles.

One well-behaved dog is welcome to stay at Llewenau Draw per reservation.

Please note that Llewenau Draw shares land with a separate larger property.

The Brecon Beacons are perfect for adventurous souls who seek rolling hills, tumbling waterfalls and romantic castle ruins. Wander through the woodland and let the trails guide you to spectacular hilltop vistas and scenic picnic pit stops.

When staying in the area, a visit to Wye Valley Canoes is recommended. These expert activity providers offer a fleet of Canadian canoes, single kayaks and double kayaks. You are able to hire them for a few hours or for a couple of days if you really want to make the most of the stunning River Wye.

The Black Mountains is a stunning collection of old red sandstone hills that dominate the Brecon Beacons, both in size and beauty. Walk through the folklore and fiction of Wales as you experience why so many adore this scenic and secluded landscape.

Getting Around:
The closest train station to Cwmdu can be found in Abergavenny, six miles away from the village. From here, you’ll find direct routes to Cardiff, Carmarthen, Chester, Holyhead and Manchester.

The closest airport is Cardiff, 53 miles away from Cwmdu.
