About this property
Stylish Lodge on popular holiday park, easy access to Lakes and Dales and free parking
The lodge is located within the popular South Lakeland Leisure Village. Minutes from the M6 and within easy reach of the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, Arnside and Silverdale (Areas of Outstanding Beauty) and Morecambe Bay, the Village has all the amenities you`d expect to keep the whole family entertained (Park passes will need to be purchased). So whether you`re looking to stay on site, or explore further afield, this is a great base for making some wonderful family holiday memories!
The Lodge:
The Lodge is all on one level but there are four steps up to the decking. It sleeps six in three bedrooms (two twin and one double) and there is a space for two cars to park right outside.
Enter through the front door and turn left towards the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner area. Here you`ll find a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, gas hob, oven, fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle), a dining table and island and a lounge area with a smart TV, electric fire and access to the deck.
Turning right when you enter the lodge takes you to the two twin bedrooms, the shower room and the master bedroom with and ensuite toilet and TV.
Guest Verification and Good Housekeeping Bond or Waiver:
Once your booking is confirmed, we request a contact email address, mobile phone number and a photo of a Government ID as part of the guest verification process. Also, to encourage all guests to respect the property and its contents, we ask for a refundable Good Housekeeping Bond of £400 to be placed as a hold against a card by your card issuer, or alternatively, we allow guests to pay a non-refundable £40 Bond Waiver. Completing these two steps is mandatory as it allows access to your personalised Boarding Pass which provides all the details for your stay, advice about activities, electronic manuals, directions to the property and the latest key safe code. This Boarding Pass is provided in conjunction with Enso Connect.
On-site Park Amenities:
Heated indoor swimming pool
Health & fitness centre with a gym and steam room
Beauty spa
Family restaurant -The Waters Edge
Beer garden
On-site Park Activities:

Sailing
Please note that you will need to purchase a Park Pass to access some of these amenities and activities.
Parking and Public Transport:
There is a parking space for two cars outside the lodge and further parking located near the park`s reception, shop, bar, restaurant and pool.
Carnforth rail station is approximately 2.5 miles, 10 minute drive away. It also has bus stops nearby. There is a bus stop, `Pine Lake` just outside the Village.
We Provide:
We provide complimentary tea and coffee, as well as travel sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there are three supermarkets in Carnforth; Aldi, Tesco and local supermarket Booths, all less than a 10 min drive from the Leisure Village.
Check-in and Check out:
The property is set up to allow remote access with easy self check-in meaning that no direct contact with anyone is needed.
Please note: Check-in is from 16:00 and Check-out is before 10:00
Fair Use Policy for Heating and Hot Water
To ensure we can offer the lowest possible accommodation costs while maintaining a comfortable stay for all our guests, the operation of the LPG central heating system is governed by a fixed schedule via the Hive thermostat. This policy is designed to balance guest comfort with energy efficiency, reflecting the substantial cost of LPG, particularly during the winter season..
Central Heating Operation
The lodge`s central heating operates on the following schedule:
Time Period: 23:00 to 07:00
The system is primarily off overnight. If the room temperature drops to 17∘C or lower, the heating will automatically activate to boost the temperature back to 17∘C. This is designed to prevent the lodge from becoming excessively cold.
Time Period: 07:00 to 23:00
During the main part of the day, the heating is set to maintain a comfortable temperature of 20∘C. The system will cycle on and off as needed to keep the lodge at this temperature.
Please Note: Tampering with the heating programmer or thermostat settings is prohibited and may result in an additional charge for excessive fuel use, as well as the immediate adjustment of the controls back to the set schedule.
Hot Water Supply
The hot water is supplied by the same LPG system and is available 24 hours a day through a combi boiler. While the hot water is always on, please be mindful of usage.
Policy Goal
This fair use policy allows us to accurately manage our highest variable operational cost (LPG fuel) and ensures that we can maintain our commitment to offering budget-friendly holidays without unexpected surcharges. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy during your stay.
Please note that per the house rules, BBQ`s are not allowed in or near the lodge. Please ask at Reception for BBQ friendly areas on site if you wish to BBQ.
Guest verification required: contact details during your stay
Good Housekeeping Bond or Bond Waiver required: £400 refundable Bond hold or £40 non-refundable waiver
Extra guests: not allowed
Quiet hours: 11pm to 7am
BBQ`s: no BBQ`s are allowed in or near the lodge. Please ask at Park reception whether you can BBQ on site
Please respect our fair use policy by not tampering with the heating programmer or thermostat.
Please leave the property in a similar state to when you arrived and lock all doors and windows.
