Very nice place! Loved the alpacas and had a great time talking with and learning from owner alpaca Joe! If we make it back to Ireland, will definitely stay here again. Very convenient to hiking in Wicklow NP.
We really enjoyed our time on the alpaca farm. The local people were very helpful.
The farm is somewhat remote. This makes the environment very quiet and safe for children. We particularly enjoyed feeding the alpacas. Joe's explanations here were very helpful and interesting. I will never again think about whether I have a llama or an alpaca in front of me 😉 There is a lovely Fairytrail as well with Lots to discover.
The relatively short journey to Dublin airport was also very practical for us.
We'd love to come back.

Thank You for the 5 Star Review and lovely testimonial. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. While we are out in the country we are still near Dublin and other towns. We are centrally located to all the major attractions in WIcklow. Ideally a car is essential if staying with us.

K2 Cottages are nestled in the foothills of the Wicklow mountains. They are central to all the main attractions in Co Wicklow. K2 Cottages are in the country yet only 50 minutes from Dublin City Centre. K2 Cottages Farmhouse and Farmyard are nestled in a hollow on the farm.K2 cottages overlook the farmyard. The cottages replaced seven 7x original outbuildings and take their names from the building they replaced. We’ve used the granite, stones and slates from the original buildings in the new cottages. These generously sized cottages are very comfortable and are an ideal location to set up base to explore all that Wicklow has to offer.K2 Cottages are on an alpaca farm: K2Alpacas is the home to 90 alpacas. The 90 acre farm has multiple walks onsite and views across the Wicklow Mountains and down to the sea. There is an abundance of wildlife on the farm and the farm has planted 100 native Irish trees and bushes to attract further wildlife. Birdsong abounds.
