Idyllic gatehouse lodge situated in Llangoedmor, near Cardigan . An ideal location for those looking to explore the coast and enjoy everything Cardigan Bay has to offer. Set just outside the village, Cilbronnau Lodge is perfectly placed for beaches, wildlife, river walks and discovering this unspoilt corner of West Wales. Complete with a private hot tub, it’s a fabulous spot to spend a holiday, whether you’re planning lazy days in the garden or adventures along the coast.
Conveniently situated just 2 miles from the bustling market town of Cardigan, the lodge gives you easy access to its historic castle, independent shops, cafés, and the riverside setting that makes the town so appealing. Cardigan is known for its creative community, great food scene, and friendly atmosphere, and it’s the gateway to some of the best sandy beaches in the area.
From Mwnt’s sweeping golden curve and dolphin spotting headland to the long sands of Poppit and the sheltered coves dotted along the coast, there’s always somewhere new to explore. The region is also famous for wildlife boat trips, river fishing on the Teifi, and miles of world renowned coastal paths with breathtaking views.
Cilbronnau Lodge has been thoughtfully renovated, retaining its traditional features to create a cosy yet stylish escape. Inside, it feels warm and welcoming; outside, the space really opens up. The large private garden offers plenty of room for free range children to roam, play and explore. You can dine al fresco on the patio, enjoy long sunny afternoons with the sound of birds in the trees, or sink into the hot tub as the evening settles in around you. Idyllic.
