Whimsical "Glamping" Cabin Getaway

Enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature year round in our cute cabin that sleeps 5 with twin daybed trundle in living area and king bed with twin futon fold out chair in sleeping cabin.
Our land is your playground... Fire pit, paddleboat, foosball and corn hole on-site as well as plenty of green spaces and mini woods for a mini hike.
Outdoor spaces for lounging and tables for dining at cabin and on pond.
Stocked pond for 24/7 fishing!!! Catfish, Bass and Blue Gill. You do not need fishing license for our private pond, but would for lake fishing outings.
Ample room for bringing your boat with nearest launch pad located 5 miles from property at Peter Cave Marina.
Dogs allowed.
Smoking is allowed outside on covered deck, but not in cabin.
Wireless internet, DISH TV and DVD player.

My host was just as wonderful as her property. Guys the pics dont do it justice. I had the very best experience i could of wished for. She made me feel at home. Everything you could possibly need was right there, from firewood to internet. We enjoyed an evening by the pond.Fished right off the deck. Then snuggled up by a fire and enjoyed the stars. Saw a momma deer and 2 babies in the yard. Finished the night off with a movie, a complimentary popcorn and chamomile hot tea. The property was very clean and neat. I will be going back and referring family and friends.

Short getaway from the city

This place was exactly what we needed. A plave to sleep, stay cool and shower at night while we boat and fish during the day. Sonnie was so sweet and friendly and the cabin was clean.

Get away

It was very nice and peacefull, went fishing in pond, walked the 1 1/4 loop, the wi fi was good, everybody we saw was nice as can be. Loved it will be back

Getaway for my daughter and myself

We enjoyed our stay! Sunnie is a fantastic host! We enjoyed fishing in the pond, loved all the kitties and Spanky is a sweet pup! We both love animals and spending time relaxing in the outdoors. Cabin is adorable and clean. Can’t wait to go back and take my granddaughter she will love it! Highly recommended for nice laid back time.

Great, relaxing stay

Sunnie was a fantastic host. She was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. The cabin was the perfect getaway for 4 adults over the Thanksgiving holiday. We spent our time fishing and paddle boating in the pond, at night we spent time around the fire pit. Our dog loved the open space and being able to play with the cats. I would recommend the cabin for people looking for a quiet place to relax.

Carefree, glamping!

My husband, 2 sons and I loved it. Already hoping for a return trip. One son caught his first fish and the other loved running around. Both loved the cats. Sunnie is an awesome host and very accommodating-she dug our a slide and totes for my boys. Great location close to marinas. Thanks Sunnie!

Perfect place to clear the mind.

Always looking for an out of the way getaway and this was perfect. Nice and quiet. Everything was as listed so we were prepared for anything they did or did not provide. It was nice to be able to sit out by the fire in the evening and fishing in the pond. I believe Sunnie and Jimmy go above and beyond to make their guest feel very welcome. Hope to make it back down again in the future.

Quick and easy weekend getaway to get out of the city and breath a little more stress-free

Nice and cozy spot. Inside was warm and inviting and we had everything needed but groceries. Sunnie is very welcoming and hospitable, and our little almost 8-month old took his first couple of steps towards her. There was a nice little lockable sideyard and our k2-year old toddler enjoyed his play area and the cars very much. We did a bit of exploring but our kids were asleep before nightfall so we just enjoyed the campfire and didn't get to the pond. We'll have to go back and fully enjoy the amenities. Thanks Sunnie!

Great Getaway

My husband and I stayed 8 nights with our doggies. The cabin was very cute and cozy. The bed was very comfy. We were there in the winter and the heat kept us warm. Sunnie was very nice and easy to work with. She showed us around upon arrival and allowed us to extend our stay. We had plenty of privacy and area to walk the dogs. We saw deer every day including 2 right outside the door one morning. The compost toilet was different, but easy to use. The area is very rural. We used the location as our hub and made day trips all over the place including Indiana and OH. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Cats galore

I sadly was not able to stay after only being in the cabim for 30 min, i am allergic to black mold and cats. There were more thab i could count of cats om the property, the little cabin was beyond cute but most defenitly had black mold from a storm and a window was busted out, it said it was only 30 min away from the caves on vrbo but is actually a hour and 15 min from it. Was not able to stay beacuse of those two health issues with the property, recieved half of my money back.

Unimpressed

This rental was exactly what we were looking for when i saw the pictures and description online. Out in the middle of nowhere with plenty to do on the property without having to leave. When we got there, Sunnie met us and showed us around the house and explained everything. The inside of the house was pretty much what we expected. The outside, not so much. Not sure when the grass was mowed last, but it was not taken care of very well at all. The first morning I got the little push mower out and mowed the area closest to the cabin. There was cat hair all over the cushions on the chairs outside. The pond for fishing? Ha! There was pretty much only one spot you could fish from because the rest of it was so overgrown with bushes and weeds you couldn't get close enough to fish. The fishing shed/game room? It was just nasty and there was barely a path to get to it. I realize it was an outdoor building, but it shouldn't have been in the shape it was in if you advertise it as one of the amenities. The paddle boat? It was leaning up against an old swing and the inside of it was just filthy with grass and dirt that you could tell had been stuck on it for quite some time. Not sure there was even a place to safely put it in the water, had we tried. The meditation station? OMG! I suppose we could of used it, if we wanted to walk through shin high grass. And even then, definitely did not look like the pictures. VERY unkept with grass growing up through the mat, and the furniture out there was pretty disgusting. I'm sure, from reading the reviews before I booked it, that this place use to be pretty nice. But, I definitely do not recommend this rental if your intentions are to enjoy the outdoor amenities that the rental ad describes and shows pictures of.

The boyfriend and i spent the weekend here with our 2 dogs. It was very peaceful and quiet. The host was very accommodating and the place was clean. Its a cute cabin. We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! There were also a lot of dogs from the neighborhood that were very friendly. They do have a cat sanctuary as well so there are a lot of friendly cats around.

ADORABLE!!!!

I highly recommend staying here! The property was adorable and just as listed! Sunnie was amazing and super helpful! It was 94 degrees outside but we stayed cool inside. AC works great! We are already planning on coming back when it's cooler to take advantage of the outside activities available at this location. Location is close to Mammoth Caves NP and Abraham Lincoln Birthplace NP.

It was so cute!

Everything went great! There are a lot of cool features to the property. Check in was a breeze and Sunnie was so so nice and helpful. We had my fiancé’s birthday party here and she made sure we had everything we needed and even put up a few birthday decorations before we arrived! There are a few cats, but we stayed outside the majority of the time and they never bothered us. Our stay was lovely, and we will definitely be returning in the future.
We brought a mini projector with us and there was a perfect spot to set it up!
The pond was absolutely beautiful.

Nice cabin fishing was rough.

The cabin was nice and is a lot bigger in the inside than it looks on the outside. The composite toilet was weird to get used to but manageable. The on property pin was cute with a fish house with lights for night fishing. But we only caught alligator snapping turtles and it was infested with turtles. All we caught besides 1 5 inch bass. It was rough considering we came for fishing. But very nice paylake around it Thomas and Sons.

Cats everywhere

When we arrived there were cats everywhere. My wife is highly allergic, we were greeted by the host she was very friendly but the whole property reeked of cats. We then entered the place and it was worse inside. The smell was horrific. It smelled of pneumonia and cat pee. My wife could not breathe so we left. We were inside for all of 10 minutes and sat outside while we found us another place to stay at 11:30 at night. I do not recommend a stay here.
