Suhovare is a small village located in the Poličnik municipality, some 10 kilometers from Vrsi and Nin, in the lovely and peaceful Zadar hinterland of Ravni Kotari. It was first mentioned in 11th century, as a property of Benedictine monastery from Zadar. The place developed into village whose population engaged in agriculture and livestock farming and continued with it largely to this day. The 18th century Church of St. Anthony of Padua and the Church of Our Lady of Good Health can bee seen in Suhovare, a village that is a great destination for enjoying fresh country air and unspoilt nature, fart from the hectic everyday life in big towns.
