New Town House - Minutes to the Beach - Secured/Gated Community

This Amazing newly finished development is in town and near the brand new baseball stadium where you can watch the Tiburones play there hearts out as the local professional baseball team for Penasco. This is a gated community.

This unit has 4 bedrooms, two on the ground floor and the Master bedroom upstairs along with a second bedroom with a King bed. There are two full bathrooms as well.

Kitchen has everything you will need including a toaster, microwave, plates etc.

Sheets and towels will also be provided. Just bring your Sun Tan lotion and a beach towel.

Flat screen TV'S and WiFi Internet included.

Not as advertised

The location was not as described on the listing. It felt isolated and unsafe regardless of being gated. It was incredibly far away from any of the activities that are generally desirable for travelers, particularly the malecon and the beach. There was a lack of privacy with the owner staying in the home next door directly connected to the Air B (this is not advertised). Certain appliances such as the oven were not functional which prohibits tenants from cooking meals in home. The limo service provided was unclear about the amount to be charged and changed throughout the evening. There were often times that the entire house smelled of sewage when running water and using the restroom. There was a lack of supplies such as extra linens and towels that made it difficult for a group of adults to distribute fairly. No check out instructions were provided and cleaning supplies were not readily available to clean after the stay. Prior to the trip, a cash deposit was requested that was not needed. We returned to the U.S a day early and were not impressed nor satisfied with our stay. We would not recommend this location.

In general I'm kind of surprised they did not request any of these concerns or just let us know so we could have provided for there requests, they just needed to ask, send an email or Whats ap just like they did when they requested the limo. We have maintenance people on site to handle any requests and we have never had any safety concerns since I have owned this property in 5 years. Yes I was staying in the unit next door which I don't understand why this is an issue. These are connected just like any townhouse which is listed in the description, but they had plenty of privacy. It is not normal for me to be in the next unit since I do rent it as well. It was available so we decided to visit for a couple days. Not even sure why I need to justify that. You were quoted $20 per person for drop off/pick up service for the Limo. You had 7 people. You paid exactly $140. You did however ask the driver to "drive us around", this would incur additional charges since you paid for drop/pickup service, which may be why he requested additional payment for that service. You did express your dislike in the prices paid for shots/ drinks at Sharkbite bar, I guess the name suits them but certainly did not have anything to do with our services.

Not my taste of rental

We typically stay at Las Conchas beach homes so this rental was way out of our taste. I personally wouldn’t stay here again only because we like to stay close to the beach , when I asked property manager how far the beach was away from rental he stated it was 1 mile away which is not correct. The nearest beach access was about a 15 minute drive. Overall its okay, again it’s way out of my taste! Only reason we rented this property was because their was nothing else available to rent.

During those trips we perform maintenance on our own property and make improvements on each and every visit. As a furniture store owner we continually upgrade items in this unit to make it a comfortable as possible. I stay here too and want to be comfortable too!

Why they chose this property

This a great escape with a lot of privacy. The common area is a secured area to have the kiddos play. Being so close to the Baseball Stadium you can enjoy the games in the evening after having a great day at the beach. There's plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby as well.
