This beautiful new home is perfect for larger families. The home boasts a huge kitchen with new stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Equipped with everything you need.
There are 3 bedrooms with additional sleeping areas that collectively can sleep up to 10 guests. The upstairs master suite includes a bar sink, vanity, bidet, double shower, huge walk-in closet and private balcony.
The other rooms are situated in private buildings, all surrounding a private courtyard featuring a beautiful fountain and small decorative pond. The yard is perfectly landscaped with gorgeous tropical plants and fruit trees.
There is free parking, free laundry facilities, air-conditioning in every room, free use of Internet, cable, beach towels, limited beach gear and a relaxing hammock.
The house is conveniently located near town and has easy access to local attractions but is nestled in a quiet, upscale neighborhood. We are ready to host your gathering of family and friends. You will create lasting memories in Kona at our beautiful retreat.

beautiful front and back yards, beautiful view from balcony, beautiful fruit trees. rooms were good size, comfortable. all amenities included. kitchen and living room had a dusty smell and we couldn't get rid of, but minor problem. overall, good experience.

Great Hawaiian Style Kailua Kona Home

We enjoyed all the welcoming spaces in David’s home. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. The location was ideal for us. The unique indoor/outdoor layout of the home is memorable. We just had to take care to keep very quiet outdoors in the evening or close up all windows and use A/C in the living room to keep absolute peace and quiet for close neighbors. That was fine for us.

Everything was perfect! David and Christy were great hosts and were excellent at communicating and helping with everything we needed. They even went so far as to help find an electrical cord we had left at the property. Will definitely look their property up first next time we are back in the area!

Great place to stay on the Big Island!

We stayed on this property for 10 days over Christmas and it was great! There were 13 people, 7 children, and there was plenty of room for all. We really liked the separate spaces, it was almost like 4 individual hotel rooms with one common gathering place. We were minutes from the beach, shopping, and the grocery all in a quiet neighborhood. David was easy to work with and answered all of our questions promptly.

Fantastic rental home for our corporate team building event. The house feels like it's own little resort with a courtyard, rooms with separate entrances and a spacious common area. House was clean, comfortable and had plenty of private spaces for people to spread out. Will definitely look for this place again if our future events bring us back to Kona! Highly recommended!

Great for our Family Gathering

This Home was the perfect setting for our family get away. The privacy offered and the common areas made our Vacation so easy. This location is super convenient to shopping, exploring and play! It's in a nice neighborhood and the updates and finishes are both modern and well thought out. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to share with extended family members as well as just a large family! David (grew up in Central California) and Christy ( grew up in Kansas) met and married in college in Utah. They became the parents of 8 children and grandparents of 20 grandchildren. They love Hawaii and travel to the island as often as possible from their home in Northern Utah. Dave is a retired periodontist and can speak to you in Spanish, Italian and German. Christy is a speaker, author and songwriter. They are opening their beautiful island home to select guests, so that others can enjoy the wonders of the big island.

We fell in love with the big island because of its unspoiled beauty and tremendous variety. You can see the most beautiful beaches in a variety of colors, the volcano and its raw influence throughout the island, the best snorkeling, swim with dolphins, hike to inspiring places, see waterfalls, and enjoy all the tastes and colors of Hawaii while enjoying the comforts of home. You will not be disappointed in your decision to stay at our home in Kona.

What makes this property unique

We love this home because of the unique layout, high end finishes and showplace tropical yard ( it seriously looks like a botanical garden). We enjoy chatting in the courtyard with friends with the calming fountain in the background. We love the ocean view from the upstairs lanai and relaxing in the hammock. We love picking fruits from our own yard and being only a 2 minute drive to Walmart for supplies.
