Excellent Location in Paradise

My whole family loved our stay here. The back porch view of the ocean was so peaceful. I loved enjoying this morning view with my coffee while listening to waves crashing.We were very excited to see whales on our first morning! Even saw a whale tail as it descended.

Incredible home

The photos don’t do the property justice. The house was clean and fully stocked with everything we could ever need. There is great indoor and outdoor space and plenty of beach supplies to make our stay more incredible. Highly recommend staying here.

This property is located within a very short walk to the beach and other ocean activities such as snorkeling tours, etc. Quiet neighborhood on conveniently located. The host met us at the house and showed us around. A very good experience!

PERFECT stay!

From beginning to end, this has been our most favorite rental to date. Yes we've stayed in more up-to-date places or locations closer to the water, but if taking the whole package into consideration (communication with owner, views, cleanliness, location, amenities, the lanai, the POOL!!!) this house was a hit for our two families. So happy with our entire stay, and would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful home in a gorgeous location

My family and friends stayed at this house for the week and had a wonderful experience. This house truly feels like a home. The design and decor is beautiful. The views of the ocean are wonderful and watching the surfers as we ate lunch was a treat. The kids and adults really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We're so glad we chose this house and hope to come back again!

This house is a gem!!!! Located on a small bay with gorgeous views! The neighborhood is quiet and at night you listen to the waves breaking on the shoreline! The description is very accurate! We will definitely be coming back.

Great location and amazing views

This wonderful property had plenty of room for our three generation party of six. It’s a short walk to a fantastic snorkeling spot. We enjoyed the private pool and hot tub. It was very close to shopping, restaurants, and activities. The location made a great home base for our day trips to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Hilo, Mauna Kea, and Kapaau. Our favorite part was the enjoying the ocean view from the balcony. We even saw dolphins! The AC units in the bedrooms were appreciated. Overall a wonderful place in a fantastic location. I’d happily stay there again.

Perfect spring break vacation

This property was amazing! The location couldn’t be better - Central to everything, close to groceries, right by the (rocky) beach, beautiful view. The swimming pool and hot tub were so nice to come back to. The house had just the right amount of space for 8 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was very, very clean. And communication with the manager was super easy. We would love to come back here!

Hawaii grief recovery

This was the first time I was gathered with all of my sons together since the unexpected death of their mother (my wife) four months prior. The property is quiet and restful, yet close to the kindnof activities we wanted to share. Thanks for helping us be close

Fantastic View

The lanai was perfect ! Great for meals, relaxing on lounges and a great view of ocean. Kitchen was well equipped, could not figure out how the ceiling lighting/fan worked so it was a little dark with just the under counter lights. Pool and hot tub were good, not sure if it is the norm in Hawaii but hot tub never really got hot, maybe 90F max. Would stay again as it was great for our family of 6 adults and 3 children of various ages.

Perfect Kona Home Base

I would like to thank the owners for providing our 3 generations of family a quality home base in Kona. The extra amenities were noticed and we appreciate all of them! The views were beautiful, the location ideal, the outdoor covered space, large pool and generous seating areas around the pool made our stay 5 star! Had a great time exploring the Island of Hawaii from our base in Keauhou. We really enjoyed being able to jump in the pool at the end of they day for a swim before dinner. The deck was a great spot for all our dinners. There were 6 of use in our group and this house was a good fit. Being able to walk down to the water was nice too. We also appreciated having snorkel gear available for our us, as well as beach chairs, beach umbrellas and beach towels.

Non-Stop Delights

The view is never-ending. From sunrise to sunset. Such a joy to enjoy the lanai. The pool, hot tub, bird calls, neighborhood walks, Keauhou Bay and Canoe Club. Even the wild turkeys cackling at cars on the street. Can't think of a better and more relaxing vacation. Plenty of room for guests and entertaining. Sandra the manager is wonderful. 4 thumbs up.

Having all the kitchen and bathroom necessities on-hand was appreciated. This benefit saved us lots of money. The home was nice and clean. With that said being a home and a home located on the ocean there is always something that needs attention. Just let Sandra know. If it can be fixed easily it will get done. This house is well loved

Our family stayed there for almost two weeks with a total of 8 adults and two toddlers for a few days before dropping to 4 adults. Sleeps 10? There is little chance an adult would have accepted the pads the toddlers slept on. The AC was wonderful in the two bedrooms with them while the rest of the house had fans most everywhere. Wished for AC throughout. The beautiful pool was our salvation. The group handled meals easily with the kitchen setup. The house in general is a bit tired, ergo the well loved comment.

Freaking Beautiful!!

My family including my wife, my sister, my brother and most importantly, my 80 year mother (us kids gave her the vacation as birthday gift) and myself loved the property. The view from the deck was absolutely gorgeous and watching the sunsets was second to none. The property is well cared for and the pool and hot tub were very clean. There were plenty of towels, dishware, small appliances including two dishwashers. The only thing that should be highlighted a bit more is that the property is really a 3 bedroom home and they put a door to the basement/wet bar area and called that a bedroom. There is only a glass door separating these two spaces so if couples want privacy in both rooms, that will be a challenge. If it is a big family with lots of kiddos, staying in this space/s then it would likely be fine. Worse thing about this place is that it is so awesome, we didn’t want to leave. :). Thanks for letting us stay!! We would love to return!!

Peaceful, Gorgeous Views, and Clean

What a wonderful property! The home is laid out in such a way that everyone can spread out and feel like they can go off and read wh8le others watch a movie or play a game. It is incredibly well equipped - anything you need to cook, serve, or store food is there - even 2 dishwashers! The pool is wonderful especially because you really can’t swim at the little cove you can see from the deck. The description of the home says you can walk to beaches and stores, etc - I walked all around that neighborhood and did not see any beaches other than the canoe club and your really can’t swim or hang out there. Walking to restaurants or stores - its about a 15 min walk to a small plaza but you have to cross a pretty busy highway - and there isn’t a grocery store there. That being said, you can’t go wrong renting this lovely property - its really quiet and yet close to everything.

What makes this property unique

As soon as you walk through the front door you will see why I fell in love with this house. The ocean breeze, the warm balmy nights, the proximity to fun, food and frolicking all caught my fancy and I had to buy it. This was 25 years ago .... you might say, it's a keeper.
