I usually don't write reviews, but need to comment on how great this house was. Communication with Sandra was great - even before we booked. The house was extremely clean and and the view was breathtaking. The little amenities around the house made it just a little bit nicer - the mattress pads on the beds, boxes of tissue with lotion, full-size bottles of name-brand shampoo/conditioner/body wash/handsoap/lotion, ample supplies of laundry detergent and dishwashing pods, newer thicker bath towels, etc. This is our second time staying in this house, and I'm sure it won't be the last.

We loved spending time on the lanai as a family, and enjoyed the clean pool as well. The ocean view is ideal, and you can hear the waves crashing from the master bedroom. Fun short walk to explore the rocky beach there. The location near tennis courts and Kona Country Club was also great for our group, and we hit the local KTA frequently! The bathrooms and kitchen were very helpfully stocked.

I am a long time resident of Hawaii, a Pediatrician, with a love for the tropics, Paddling and all that Hawaii has to offer. I moved to Connecticut so my girls could go to better schools and I hope to retire in Kona some day in my empty nest years.

As soon as you walk through the front door you will see why I fell in love with this house. The ocean breeze, the warm balmy nights, the proximity to fun, food and frolicking all caught my fancy and I had to buy it. This was 25 years ago .... you might say, it's a keeper.
