About this property

Villa Duinrand - Koksijde

Unwind with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation on the edge of the dunes. The property is surrounded by a large garden. However, this is not fully fenced.

The house has 3 spacious bedrooms. One is on the ground floor with double bed (160x200) and ensuite bathroom. There are two more bedrooms on the first floor, one with a double bed (160x200) and one with two double beds (140x200).

Attention: bedlinen (in packages) are included, bath linen are not. You can however order bathlinen as an extra of have your bed made up with a supplement.

We ask a security deposit of €500 via credit card.

Ferienhaus hat bessere Tage gesehen. Türklinken sind vergilbt. Türen & Fenster sind verzogen & schließen schlecht/lassen sich schlecht öffnen.Einrichtung des Hauses ist nicht schön. Sofabezüge sind fleckig & daher mit fusseligen Decken abgehangen. Lampe im Kinderzimmer ist bloße Glühbirne in einer Fassung ohne Lampenschirm. Bilderrahmen enthalten kein Bild, sondern Bedienungsanleitung für Bilderrahmen.Das Schlimmste war, dass die Heizung nicht funktioniert hat (im Oktober bei Tiefsttemperaturen von 11 Grad). Hausverwaltung lässt lange auf Antwort warten, macht dann auch nur einen bemühten Eindruck. Letztlich hat sie keine nähere Kenntnis vom Objekt (verweist auf Thermostate der Heizung, aber weist nicht darauf hin, dass es versteckt hinter einem Vorhang (!) noch eine Temperaturregelung für das gesamte Haus gibt; diese haben wir erst nach langem Suchen selbst gefunden. Aber Heizung blieb kalt). Hausverwaltung schickte Hauseigentümer vorbei, der seine eigene Heizung nicht kennt & auch nicht zum Laufen bringen konnte. Am 2. Tag in Kälte hat Hausverwaltung Handwerker vorbeigeschickt. Untergeschoss wurde dann warm. Aber Heizkörper im Obergeschoss (auch im Bad mit der Dusche!) blieben für den Rest des Urlaubes kalt. Nach erneuter Beanstandung versprach die Hausverwaltung, uns auf dem Laufenden zu halten, aber ließ dann nichts mehr von sich hören. Auf unsere Nachfrage gab sie uns die Schuld dafür! Obergeschoss blieb bis zur Abreise kalt!Nicht noch mal!

Das Haus ist traumhaft und toll gelegen, was enttäuschend war, war der Zustand bei dem Preis. Das Wasser im Waschbecken ist nicht abgelaufen. , die erste Runde in der Spülmaschine war nicht erfolgreich, die Waschmaschine hat einen Tag benötigt bis sie die Wäsche wieder frei gegeben hat.
