A real treat staying in a charming rustic home nestled in a grove of White Spruce. Really magical to hear the rolling waves of Lake Michigan while enjoying a fire in the peaceful back yard. Two full bathrooms was great. Having fires in the outdoor and indoor fire place was special during this time of year. Comfortable and clean. Nice towels and plenty of nice seating indoor and outdoors.

Great location, lots of room to play lawn games, fire pit was great, and access to the beach was awesome. It was really great place to get away for a couple days. It was great, the AC did struggle to keep up just a bit, but the evenings were normally cool enough to offset the day.

This is a great house right by the beach and Kohler Andrae State Park, but also has a quiet location in the woods. Super clean and well-maintained, host communication was perfect. The basketball court and playground are really nice for kids even when it's not beach season. Hopefully we will be back!

The cabin and wooded setting were spectacular! The coziness and spaciousness of Nelly's Place was outstanding. Exceptionally clean and beautiful inside and out. Furniture was abundant, very comfortable and the wood burning fireplace was wonderful. It was cool and rainy much of the time, so a perfect time to enjoy a fire. Lots of places to spread out.Jeremy was an excellent and generous host, very prompt in responding to any questions. Thank you for making your sweet cabin available. I hope to return! 2 friends from Madison, WI

Great place to stay!

My family and I had a wonderful time! We traveled with three small children (all four and under), and the house worked perfectly; plus, there was tons of space for the kids to play in the yard!

This was one of the best VRBO's we have stayed at on Lake Michigan. Our family has been through a lot recently and this was just the break we needed. We LOVED the check out process, very little to do. Great communication with the owners and just a beautiful property!

We got EXACTLY what we hoped for in our stay - a serene, beautiful setting, cozy, warm and inviting home, and steps away from the beauty of our happy place - Lake Michigan. Beds were comfortable. House is clean, well stocked, and very nicely decorated. Host was super easy to reach when I had a question. Only thing I would change - ditch the nonstick pans for some others, or get new ones. The non stick surfaces were scratched and peeling which is very unappealing to cook on. Otherwise, I wish I could live in this house!!

Great cabin in the woods

Great cozy cabin in the winter. Fireplace, Christmas tree and cozy interior all makes the place welcoming. Location is isolated yet close enough to everything for our tastes.
