Beautiful property

My boyfriend and I stayed for a little over a week. We wanted to stay a bit out of town so this location was perfect for us. The host was very responsive and the house was beautiful.

Beautiful place just outside of town

The good, the property was clean, beautiful, small and quaint (but that’s what we wanted), communication from the host was great. The only bad thing was that the location was a little different than what shows on the listing, about a 15-20 minute drive outside of where the listing shows. Other than the location difference I would not hesitate to recommend the place as the place was just as the pictures show and the host was great, just be aware that it is slightly outside of town, easy drive though from the house to central La fortuna.

Not located in La Fortuna

The location of this property was about half an hour drive from what was advertised. Floors were wet when we arrived and used tissues were in one of the trash cans. Outdoor camera faced inside through windows with no blinds.

Hello Lou, Regarding your comment, I would like to clarify a few important points: 1. On the 9th, when you made the reservation, we sent you the exact address of our accommodation for your reference. We did not receive a response from you. 2. A few days prior to your arrival, we sent you detailed information, including instructions on how to disable the cameras to ensure complete privacy. However, we did not receive a reply to this message, which is why I’m surprised by your complaint about the camera. 3. On the day of your arrival, we tried to contact you by phone to welcome you, but there was no answer. Regarding the wet floor, please note that we are in a tropical climate, where rain is frequent and can occur several times a day. I also deeply apologize for the dirty trash bin. If you had informed us during your stay, we would have gladly sent the cleaning staff to resolve it immediately. As Costa Ricans, we are committed to offering you the best possible experience. We are open and communicative people, and it saddens us to receive this review, as it is the first negative one we’ve had overall. I feel this situation could have been easily resolved through direct communication. We wish you a wonderful rest of your trip and hope you give us the chance to improve in the future. Kind regards,
