Disappointing and Misleading – Not as Described
We booked this house for a birthday party for 3 days, under the clear impression that we would have the entire property to ourselves – exactly as on their page advertised. Unfortunately, the reality was very different:•During the day, lots of day guests showed up at the pool without any prior notice.•Two staff members were actually living in the house with us – something that was never mentioned beforehand and seriously compromised our privacy.•The pool was off-limits after 8:00 PM – again, no information about this restriction was provided in the listing.•On top of that, the house was in noticeably worse condition than shown in the photos. It felt worn down and poorly maintained in several areas.Overall, we felt misled. The stay did not match the description at all. A real shame, as the house could have potential – but the lack of transparency, inaccurate listing, and poor maintenance made this a frustrating and disappointing experience.The people working at the house were alright and tried their best to let us be but still the stay turned out totally different than we expected and what was promised.
