A spacious get-a-way with all the conveniences of home on a large canal with covered dock and direct access to Lake Okeechobee! 2Bd/2Ba home fully furnished; including bed linens, towels, WIFI and all the necessities needed in the kitchen. Dining area seats 4 to 6. Spacious living room with sectional sleeper sofa and large smart TV. Both bedrooms are queen beds with smart TV’s. Both bathrooms have walk-in showers, no tubs. Big covered dock, fish cleaning station with water/electric and plenty of space to dock your boats! Perfect location for visiting the area for one of our many fishing tournaments! Close to everything - restaurants, shopping, golf courses, etc. Boat to Burger King & grab a bite or boat to the VFW and/or Back to Butch’s to enjoy a cold mug! Great place to get away from it all, either to fish or just to enjoy and relax! This is a FISHERMAN'S PARADISE! Bring your fishing poles, cast a line and stay a while! Ample parking for trucks and boats.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Please wash any dishes or small kitchen appliances that you may have used and put them back where they were. Make sure you have ALL your belongings. Anything left behind will be disposed of.

Please set the AC to 78 degrees. If you used the dock area, please ensure all lights/fans are turned off.

Please text host once you are fully checked out. Safe travels back home and thanks for booking!

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The dock, pavilion, laundry area are shared with the FISHERMAN'S GET-A-WAY unit. Please turn off all lights/water after usage.

Please be respectful to ALL guest and respect quiet hours from 9PM to 7AM. SMOKING/VAPING IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE PROPERTY!

NO SWIMMING or water entry at any time. Dock/Pavilion use is at your own risk. Boats may tie up to the dock. Please use boat fenders/bumpers.

This place was great for our fishing trip. It was clean, and located in a very quiet neighborhood. The private dock on the water with grills for cooking, and the fish cleaning station was also great. It would definitely be a great place for a quiet fishing trip with friends. Would definitely stay again. Curtis was amazing throughout the entire trip. From booking the room to checking on us throughout the stay. He was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Great stay! Would have stayed longer if it were available. Cheryl was great, place was clean, kitchen was well stocked with anything you need to prepare your own meals. Laundry and bathroom facilities were will stocked and clean.. Fishing was fun. Had a blast, would rent again!

Good Month

Okeechobee is a great Winter getaway and the rental is spacious and CLEAN. If ya want a Palm Beach experience this ain't it. Lots of linens, pots and pans and utensils. Enjoy.

Great location and great price. Conveniently located near our charter fishing (https://okeechobeebassfishing.com/). Definitely recommend this charter company. Cheryl, our host, was very friendly and gave us a tour of the place before we settled in and checked in on us as we were leaving - very welcoming and hospitable. Very much enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views out on the dock in the evenings. We watched the sunsets from there. Thanks again!

Excellent Fishing & Accommodations

Cheryl’s property was cozy and perfect for a fishing getaway! She provided us with all the local information we needed. We fished for eight days and never got skunked! Sleeping in the back bedroom was awesome, because you could wake up and peek out the window at the dock and canal. We saw lots of wildlife and came home with lots of fish! Will do it again in a heartbeat! Thanks so much, Cheryl!

Just the right place

We spent two weeks here for a fishing trip and enjoyed our stay very much. Plenty of room to park my bass boat while hooked up. The house was clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. The neighborhood is quiet and less then ten minutes from town with any store or restaurant you could want. The canal has a tree across from the dock where you can watch all the pelicans roost and dive for fish. The owner was extremely nice and quick to respond to phone calls and emails. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Exploration get away

The owner is very helpful with area activities. It had every convenient thing a person could need. Just add your own food fishing hiking, biking, boating with your own boat, airboat rides, just an hour away from beaches. Can fish or sit on a deck by the canal. Awesome place. Will be back.

The house was clean and comfy, the dock was nice we seen turtles, river otter on the dock, manatee. We caught around 120 fish just off the dock. Had a great time

Cheryl is great!

Cheryl was a great host. My brother-in-law and myself required very little. We were just there to fish three days. However, I believe Cheryl could have provided anything that we requested.
