The Lock Keepers Cottage aka (Kintore Cottage) is by far the best Cottage we have stayed in on our visits to the Loch Ness area, The cottage itself is very cozy and furnished to a very high standard and has everything you need to make your stay a home from home. Being on holiday apart from breakfast we ate out mostly and Fort Augustus has many eateries and there is something for all tastes, Kintore Cottage is certainly a perfect central Hub for touring the surrounding highlands. We will return.

Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und ideal für 2-4 Personen, besonders Familien.Ein schöner kleiner Garten. Die Lage ist super. Direkt am Geschehen, aber dennoch ist man für sich. Viele Touristen tagsüber am Kanal, was aber überhaupt nicht stört. Dadurch gibt es viel Angebot um Ort. Ideal auch für Ausflüge Richtung Kye, Inverness und die Highlands.

Erg mooi en schoon huisje op een prachtige plek. Met andere matrassen (zonder voelbare springveren) zou het een 5 ster score zijn.
