May Cottage is a delightful property in the picturesque village of Middleton One Row. Aptly named after the 'one row' of properties overlooking the village green and the bank of the River Tees, the cottage was built in the 19th century and stands out with the perfect combination of original period features and modern interior. Newly refurbished to a high standard, the cottage features three bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and dining area, a family bathroom, a separate WC, and a private patio.
The Space:
Tucked away in the sought-after area of Middleton One Row, and just a short drive from historic Yarm, May Cottage is an ideal accommodation for family trips, getaways with friends, and business stays.
Upon entry, you will find the living room, kitchen and dining area, and a WC on the ground floor.
The first room on your right is a spacious living room with a window view of the front garden. Painted in light blue and fitted with two sofas and a large wall-mounted Smart TV, it's the perfect place for the group to relax.
The next room is the open-plan kitchen and dining area, fully equipped with a dining table and chairs, an oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, and more. If you fancy eating out, there's a gastropub within walking distance of the house.
If you walk straight from the main entrance hallway, at the end of the hall, you will find a WC and the back door with access to the patio. The backyard is filled with greenery and features a seating area with bistro chairs and a table.
Heading to the upper floor, you will find all the bedrooms and the family bathroom.
The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, a desk for work or vanity purposes and a beautiful view of the neighbourhood from the window.
The room next to it is a single bedroom, perfect for children or anyone who prefers to have a room to themselves. This room also offers a view of the street and the neighbourhood through the windows.
The third bedroom is also fitted with a king-size bed and a desk that can be utilised for studies, work, or vanity, with windows overlooking the backyard.
Lastly, the family bathroom is conveniently located on the same floor, featuring a bath with an overhead shower, a WC, and a wash basin.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There is no parking directly outside the house, however there are free parking spaces on the public road opposite the property, plus two private spaces to the rear of the property.
The property is located within a residential area and as such, this is not suitable for parties, events or celebrations and we have a strict policy against loud music or noise.
