The apartment was beautifully furnished and the location was perfect, with gorgeous views of the cathedral across the street. Treviso is a lovely small, walkable city. The hosts were very responsive.

Beautiful home online. After arriving, no handrail on inside staircase. Bathroom toilet paper holder laying on floor, unattached from wall, when we arrived. Once a day an extremely foul smell (like sewer back-up) came from full hallway bath perminating the entire second floor! Bath towels were thin as rags. No guest book informing us of WiFi and password, local sights, or recommended restaurants. Construction going on above us before 7:00 AM using electric saws and hammering. And finally…on the last night, upon arriving home late after a family wedding, the electricity went out in the entire home!! I messaged the host and we tried the breaker, but no success. We had to shower, pack, and walk up and down stairs by the lights on iphone and iPad BUT could not charge our devices so they were ready for the next day. We were disappointed. Not a great way to end our stay.

Dear guests, We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points: during your stay, we were always available and in direct contact with you, providing you with all the necessary information, including the Wi-Fi password and other useful information. As for the construction work, unfortunately we cannot intervene in the work carried out by the neighbors in the adjacent building, but as already communicated, we have verified that the hours permitted by the municipality are being respected. The blackout on the last evening was caused by a sudden failure of the bathroom fan, which caused a short circuit. We dealt with it promptly the following morning. We apologize for the inconvenience, even though it was an exceptional and unforeseeable event. Regarding the other issues (odors, towels, bathroom accessories), it would have been very helpful to have been informed during your stay so that we could have taken immediate action, as we usually do with all our guests. We welcome your comments as an opportunity to further improve the experience we offer, but we would also like to emphasize the commitment we make every day to keeping the house comfortable and welcoming.
