Once again we stayed at the house in Ashley for our hunting/Thanksgiving getaway. We really enjoy the location and the amenities of the house. Thanks for opening your home for our family.
We had a great time again while staying in Ashley. The house was perfect for us to have our thanksgiving dinner after a long day of hunting. We’ll be back again next year.

Jessica, thanks for your review and being a repeat guest.
The house works great for our needs. We’ve been coming out here for 7 years now. We’ve Stayed here several of those years. Thank you for providing this for groups like ours. The Roost has a great steak on Friday nights. Good people and we feel very welcome there.
We had a great time in Ashley. Neighbor came over to visit us and talk. Local businesses were very good to us. The Roost has great food. The house worked the house worked great for us. We had 7 guys plenty of space for us to spend the evenings. Area to clean the fish. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a place to rent for fishing or hunting trips. Will be looking to book again next year. Thank you Jim

Jim, thanks for your generous review. What upgrades should I make to the home this coming year?
An older home in need of some maintenance. It was advertised as having 2 refrigerators but only one works. Also needs bathroom door to replace current curtain for privacy. Overall accommodations worked well for the fisherman in our group. We will most likely return next year. Thank you!
We stayed for a hunting trip in Ashley. The house was a bit small and the bedrooms were too crowded, with extra beds squeezed in. Our party only has 5 guys, and that was plenty for the space. More than 6 adults would be very tight in my opinion.
It was functional and served the purpose for us, but we have stayed in better hunting houses. The clothes dryer did not work and that would have been nice to have a functioning laundry room.
The house was very clean when we arrived on Saturday. We’ve stayed here for a few years now for a week to go ice fishing. There were 7 of us and it worked extremely well for us. Area to clean fish and freezer space to keep them through out the week. We have fun when we come out Ashley ND each year. Jim stopped over a couple of times to check on us and make sure we had what we needed. Had a very nice conversation with him. We appreciated the visits. Local business’s treated us well. We ate at both the Wild Rose Wednesday night and the Roost on Friday night for their steaks. Good meal. Thank you for providing us this option. Jim I.
My family lives in Bismarck, ND. We bought this home to be our hunting cabin away from the "big" city. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. My wife used to work at the Ashley Medical Clinic and used as her second home.
