Welcome to the magical forest cottage Alma!

The forest cottage is located in a wooded rural setting and has its own entrance. It is a place where time may stand still for a while, you can enjoy beautiful walks in nature. In the evening, it is great to relax with a drink by the pellet stove or relax in the authentic barrel sauna, heated with a Finnish wood stove.

The charming cottage is surrounded by tall trees and nestled in the natural landscape of Oud Rekem. A village known as the most beautiful village in Flanders, where you immediately feel the authentic French ambiance.

The accommodation has three bedrooms and can accommodate six people. There is a well-equipped kitchen.
The cottage is surrounded by a garden where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the singing of the many birds. In the evening it is lovely to relax with a drink.

It is located in a wooded rural area and has a private entrance.

Upon arrival, we found the property to be materially different from our expectations based on the listing. There were stains on the couch, a hole in the wall, cobwebs, crayon markings on the ceiling, and a strong odor originating from the bathroom that spread throughout the house. Due to these conditions, we decided not to stay at the property and vacated shortly after arrival.We contacted the owner immediately to report our concerns and seek a resolution. We also worked with VRBO in an attempt to resolve the matter but were ultimately unable to reach a satisfactory resolution. This review is based on our experience upon arrival and inspection of the property before departing.
