Welcome to the magical forest cottage Ignis!

The forest cottage is located in a wooded rural setting and has its own entrance. It is a place where time may stand still for a while, you can enjoy beautiful walks in nature. The charming cottage is surrounded by tall trees and is hidden in the natural landscape of Oud Rekem. A village known as the most beautiful village in Flanders, where you immediately feel the authentic French ambiance.

The accommodation has one bedroom and is suitable for two persons. The bedroom is in the open loft and is only accessible via a (steep) staircase.
In the living room there is a bath and in the evening you can relax with a drink by the pellet stove.

There is a well-equipped kitchen. The cottage is surrounded by a garden with a terrace where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the singing of the many birds.

It is located in a wooded rural area and has a private entrance.

Super leuk en charmant huisje! We hebben genoten van de vogelgeluiden. De keuken is prima uitgerust, de badkamer ziet er prima uit. Leuk aangekleed met de meubels en verlichting. Fijn dat de tuin afgesloten is en dat er plek is voor de auto. We hebben het heerlijk gehad! We konden lopend naar de supermarkt en een paar restaurantjes (we hebben wel de sluiproute langs de sporthal genomen). Het is een mooi onderhouden ruim park. We zijn heerlijk tot rust gekomen en zouden een verblijf hier aanraden!

Ik heb ontzettend genoten van het bad in huisje Ignis. Niks fijners dan na een winterwandeling in bad te kunnen duiken. Het enige wat moeizamer ging was het huisje warm krijgen. De pelletkachel moest vele uren draaien alvorens het 20 graden was. De badkamer en de spullen in de keuken voelen ook wat vochtig aan. Maar voorts heb ik ontzettend genoten van het huisje en verblijf.

Echt een aanrader om hier heerlijk te vertoeven en in de wintermaanden op te warmen in het fantastische bad. Top huisje!

Ik probeerde via airbnb maar dat lukte niet en Jasper was heel hulpzaam om het toch voor elkaar te regelen. Er was aan heel veel bedacht, en dat was heel fijn! Zoals de vaatwastabletten, koffie, bestek, pannen, oven, magnetron, zeep, echt veel! Dat maakt het verblijf daar heel fijn want zo konden we ook veel binnen genieten (bij slecht weer) en heerlijk lang in bad! Locatie was ook heerlijk met veel natuur, brasseries, speeltuin, etc. Heel fijn en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!
