We had a wonderful week at the beautiful Birdsong Cottage (the perfect name for this accommodation). As a base for visiting the local area, the cottage was ideally located for accessing the coast and the A1. Furthermore, the addition of the games room was a much appreciated extra for our two teenagers.
Very nice property in a peaceful location. All amenities catered for, which made for an easy and pleasant stay. We had not realised on the listing that the games room was shared until we arrived at the property and found it was a shared facility amongst 3 properties on site, however it was not a problem and we could generally access it when we wanted.
Ckean, modern cottage with every facility you could want including comfy beds and great showers. The cottage is in a lovely tranquil settling of trees with the sound of a brook very close. Its convenient for all the popular places to visit. Bamburgh castle, Seahouses, Berwick and lots of loved local villages. The only small niggle i had was that we have stayed in many vrbo properties and generally found the hosts to be welcoming abd friendly. The hosts of this cottage seemed very efficient but a bit distant but perhaps thats the difference between individual hosts and a business host.
