About the host
Hosted by Tatjana (Jana)
I am a Slovenian/British living in England. Since leaving my full time job in Business Training & Development, I have been focusing on refurbishing the Hideaway and living the Mediterranean life style. As a qualified yoga instructor, I get to practice on our lovely patios and by the sea. Socialising with people from all over the world and sharing my keenness for swimming, boating, stand up boarding, yoga, cycling and exploring each corner of this stunning island.
Why they chose this property
Born in Slovenia I lived there till I was 20. Croatia was the place we all use to go to on holidays. I have always known that Hvar was a jewel of Dalmatia, but I didn't know that I would be lucky enough to call it my second home.
What makes this property unique
Having spent last 33 yrs in England, I have been lucky to live is some amazing properties. I have never come across the cosier and more stylish houses then in England.
Although my Hvar house is a traditional Dalmatiin stone house, which has been preserved as such, I have introduced many items brought over from England. Mixing a traditional Croatian with English comfortness.
Famous English saying is 'Your home is your kingdom' and I strongly believe that we should all feel the comfort when walking into a room. Adding something different, eye catching and beautiful.
