Hidden in private woodland in the middle of a small family run farm, the cabin sits by a quiet lake, where birdsong and the soft rustle of trees set the tone for complete relaxation. Step outside to enjoy the hand-hammered copper bathtub or the Swedish sauna, perfectly positioned to immerse you in the peaceful surroundings. As night falls, stargaze by the fire pit for a truly magical experience.

We love where we live. Every time we return home, we’re reminded just how special this part of Yorkshire is. Burythorpe gives you the best of both worlds—peaceful countryside for slowing down and recharging, but with so many brilliant places close by to explore.
We’re lucky to have the foodie town of Malton just a short drive away and the stunning landscapes of the North York Moors and Yorkshire coast within easy reach. Our village pub is a 300 year old coaching inn with roaring open fires most of the year which is lovely and the vineyard in the next village is of course, also lovely.
