Located 70 kms south of Tours and 60 kms from Poitiers (TGV station 25 kms to Chatellerault), this old house is located in the heart of a very small village (BOUSSAY - 37290) where you will enjoy the tranquility and fresh air from a region renowned for its castles and "relaxed lifestyle".

Well equipped, good range of kitchen equipment. Great location in quiet village. The nearby weekend bar/restaurant is wonderful. Lovely large rooms with a light, airy feel. Minor issues: new pool-side furniture might be good. Broadband Internet access very fast, but as the router is located in a stone recess, wi-fi reception around the house is a bit limited. Neither of these are major factors or spoiled our stay in any way.

beautiful house of centuries old.

We were lucky to stay in Boussy during some very hot days (over 35°C), but the house has thick walls and remained fresh, except the second floor under the roof. The house and swimming pool are very comfortable. My only recommendation was an extra cooking pot, large enough to serve and cook for 8-10 people. For the rest we enjoyed are week very much. When we had a question, our host was very helpful and always available (living at 200 m in a castle).

Maison avec du caractère, du charme mais qui aurait besoin d’être entretenue , système d’éclairage du 2 eme à revoir faux contact sévère ou court circuit, carreaux de la fenêtre du 1 er cassée mastiquée mais non remplacée donc ouverte ,pas de sèche linge pourtant notifié,aspirateur piscine complément inefficace donc au bout de 15 jours la piscine bien sale ,table ping pong enfant , la cuisine est à rénover

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de deux semaines, dans ce très beau gîte, situé au cœur d’un ravissant village, relié à d’autres lieux charmants par une voie verte. L’accueil du propriétaire est sympathique et particulièrement intéressant en ce qui concerne l’histoire des lieux.

Heerlijk groot en echt frans huis, fijne ruime tuin met zwembad, super rustig gelegen met een waanzinnig mooi uitzicht. Buitengewoon aardige en in alles behulpzame verhuurder. Fantastische week met kinderen en kleinkinderen gehad.

La maison est toujours très agréable et suffisamment grande pour qu'à 9 personnes on ne soit pas les uns sur les autres. Certains équipements notamment dans la cuisine mériteraient d'être changé car commencent à être vieux et abîmés.

Les équipements concernés n’étant pas listés, cela m’est difficile de répondre à cette remarque. Je regrette cette appréciation globale de 3 étoiles qui semble ne pas prendre en compte le confort global de la maison et les services rendus durant ce week-end (fourniture de produits d’hygiène, bûches pour la cheminée )

Beautiful relaxing summer break

The process was easy from start to finish and the house and location were perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The pool was perfect for the kids to play and for the adults to cool down from the beautiful sunshine. The area was nice and quiet with routes available to go for evening walks. Overall a wonderful property and surroundings and we would definitely come back.

Excellent séjour dans une très jolie bâtisse. Attention aux plus addicts, la4G est aléatoire et le WiFi en libre service à du mal à traverser les larges murs en pierre 😉. Merci pour l'accueil.

Beautiful location

A gorgeous location and a lovely exterior with a great pool. The interior needs some attention - one dining chair fell apart and others were very rickety. There are only two toilets in the whole property, one of which doesn’t have a handbasin. We did enjoy our stay but felt a little disappointed with the interior of the property.

Très beau séjour!

On a passé 3 jours en famille dans cette maison, c'était vraiment super. La maison est grande, agréable à vivre, l'extérieur est spacieux (nous étions 11 et on ne se marchait pas dessus), la piscine est belle et chauffée! La maison est dans un village est très sympa et pittoresque, juste à côté d'un belle église. On a pu visiter l'extérieur du chateau juste à côté. Marc est très accueillant et réactif, il nous a apporté des ustensiles qui nous manquaient, et il nous a même raconté l'histoire de sa famille, du village et du chateau! Je recommande ce séjour, et j'y retournerai avec plaisir.
