About this property
Villa la Vedetta Sea and Mountain View
Villa "La Vedetta" with sea view surrounded by a centuries-old olive grove and breathtaking views, located in Magliolo, a small village with few inhabitants. Located in a large circular valley that seems to dominate the entire landscape. You can see the blue sea just a few kilometres away. It enjoys a mild climate as the area is kissed by the sun from dawn to dusk. Various paths allow you to enjoy naturalistic trails with stunning panoramas. Vaulted ceilings give an impression of elegance.
An ideal place for people looking for quiet and panoramic places with a great desire for fun and movement with the family, immersed in the wonderful nature of Magliolo but but still close to the Ligurian sea which is just 8 km away.
The house is spread across 2 floors and has two entrances, recently renovated with fine finishes. Vaulted ceilings typical of ancient houses give an impression of elegance and refinement to the interiors.
On the first floor there is a large storage room, lounge with comfortable sofa and TV, bathroom with bathtub and a spacious kitchen complete with all appliances.
Upstairs there is a small bathroom with shower and two bedrooms: master bedroom with sea view and walk-in wardrobe, the other guest bedroom with a lovely fresco on the ceiling (this room has no direct light so is a little dark). There is a skylight on the side ceiling but, being positioned on the side, it does not illuminate it with daylight.
In the middle of the two rooms there is a relaxation area and study with comfortable armchairs, a small sofa bed and a desk.
The external space is made up of three areas separated by steps.
The first area is the spacious terrace with outdoor shower and, going down 4 steps, you can find a small garden covered with grass. Lastly, there is another staircase which leads to the swimming pool 2.8x1.2.
Guests can also enjoy sun loungers, poolside sofas, garden sofa and armchair sets, plus a table with chairs for outdoor dining and enjoying the stunning surrounding panorama.
In front of the house there is a centuries-old olive grove and from the terrace you can admire the sea and the majestic surrounding mountains.
Please bear in mind that it is not possible to reach the house by car. The closest entrance from the road is about 10 metres away and to reach it you have to pass under a not too high arch, about 1.40 metres high. The second entrance from the terrace can be reached via a slightly steep asphalt path (about 100 m). It is not suitable for people with motor disabilities. The private parking reserved for guests for two cars is 200 metres away.
The second guest bedroom with a lovely fresco on the ceiling (this room has no direct light so is a little dark). There is a skylight on the side ceiling but, being positioned on the side, it does not illuminate it with daylight.
For guests traveling with young children 👶⚠️
The house includes some raised areas, such as indoor stairs, that are not equipped with fixed safety barriers. Therefore, young children must always be supervised by an adult.
For added peace of mind, a baby safety gate is available and can only be installed at the top of the stairs.
The road to Magliolo is not flat, as it winds uphill through the hills — a typical Ligurian road with curves and hairpin bends. In some stretches, it’s fairly wide, while in others it narrows significantly, requiring you to slow down.
