The property was amazing, large kitchen well laid out. 2 refrigerators so lots of space to keep food and drinks cold. Lots of place to have conversations. We had my Dad's EOL ceremony there so there was a lot of family. One shower was broken but that was not too big a deal as there were plenty of other ones. The deck was a little rough but was not too bad.Rooms were great! Beach was ideal for kids. I would stay there again.

Family reunion

We stayed at the Eagles Nest for a week. There were 5 adults and 5 kids ranging in age from 3 to 15. There was plenty of space for all of us to sleep, eat, and hang out. The lake was great and the location was amazing!

Lots of room

Property has lots of room to stay for a large group/family. Overall property is getting tired on the outside, baths and kitchen are great and updated. Poor water pressure and a hot tub that was not available for use.

Amazing!

Our experience at Henry’s cottage was amazing! We were a group of 10 people and we all had a great time staying there. The cottage is clean, well decorated, spacious and has many bathrooms to accommodate a large group of people. Henry is a great host and he made sure to answer all our questions in a timely manner. We’ll definitely book the cottage again in summer! 5-stars to Henry and the team to make our stay flawless!

The Eagle’s Nest

The location is amazing, the pictures don’t do it justice. The locals were very nice and friendly members of my group had spoken to lots of people while on the provided boats. Henry was a great host and was very understanding and helpful with special requests with my group. Henry responded quickly and I have nothing negative to say about him or our experience as a whole. We made many great memories on our trip and we hope to visit again! 5 Star Experience!

My extended family really enjoyed our stay at tea lake cottages. The property was very well equipped, had everything we needed and as advertised. Fantastic cooking setup with more than enough space for dining, lounging and visiting, and four updated bathrooms. Wonderful for swimming and boating too. Fun for all ages. The property owner was also very easy to communicate with and was responsive to any questions.

Simply Gorgeous!!

A wonderful experience. Eagle's Nest is large, roomy cottage equipped with everything you need and more. Just a few feet away from a beautiful, calm, warm lake. We brought our boat, tied it to the dock over the 3 days and enjoyed endless tow sport activities on Tea Lake. Owners are friendly and very accomodating! Convenient location just 15 min. From Hwy 400. Highly recommend this place. P. Zourntos

Waterside

The lake is beautiful, slowly gets deeper as you go out quite far. Fun to see the boats travelling through the channel to the river. There was lots of space in the cottage, many amenities indeed. Well stocked linens, towels, kitchen necessities. There were many items outside that are broken and have not been removed, Some have been replaced but not others. The property manager did come to fix some things while we were there, once they were known to him.

Overall a good stay, the heat in the basement didnt seem to work properly. The keurig was a nespresso so our kcups didnt work. The front door code lock was a little finnicky. Would recommend adding curtains or blinds to the upstairs living room, was hard to use the tv due to glare. The water pressure in the showers was awesome. The kitchen was spectacular. Beds were all comfy. Maybe a few more blankets available for winter.

Good time comfortable

The cottage was clean and spacious.Things to improve - the “bunk bed” room is directly behind the kitchen and looked like it was the pantry converted to a bunk bed room. It had no air, no windows and you could hear everything from the kitchen including the very loud hum of the two fridges, that could drive you up the wall. The photo was not on the site and I believe there was a reason.I would also caution parents with young kids as the bannister surrounding the very high deck is very rickety. We could not locate any life jackets even though it was stated they were “outside the shed” on the documents provided - and when we asked about them again - we were given the same answer. We looked everywhere - all over the property and could not find them and so we w were not able to use the boats provided because we couldn’t find the paddles either. My 8 year-old was not impressed.

Lovely cottage

My family and I (there were 12 of us in total) had a wonderful time at Henry's cottage. Beautiful cottage and beautiful location. Lots of games and water toys to keep us occupied, and the little beach into the lake was a great entry way. There was only one (little) hiccup...check-in was a bit delayed as the cleaners were still working on the cottage. We had arrived early so we were okay waiting until check-in time. However, once check-in time arrived, we had to wait for them to finish and to move their vehicles. To be fair, it wasn't a long wait, we just had nowhere to really park until they left. But other than that, our stay was great! Henry was very communicative and did check in with us to make sure we were having a good time. We would definitely stay again!

Great stay

Lovely 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom cottage on Tea Lake. It has beautiful lake views from almost every room. We took full advantage of the bbq set up in the sun room. The bathrooms are all very nice with plenty of hot water. There is also a good selection of board games in addition to the pool table. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. We enjoyed the nespresso and made use of the air fryer too. The double fridge and wine fridge were great. There is a shed that is stocked with life jackets of every size. We had access to the boats prior to check in and the cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. Some notes. There were only 2 dish towels provided, so it would be nice to have more for drying off dishes. The bunk bed room gets hot and there are 2 sided cupboards connected to the kitchen. A small child can open a cupboard and have access to all the plates and bowls. The kids in our group were old enough that this wasn't a problem. The dock is shared but we were the only group as it was midweek so this wasn't an issue.

The property was a great location and great on the inside with lots of beds. The only complaint I have is about the smell of the water. Nobody in our party wanted to shower because the smell was horrible. Make sure you bring lots and lots of water when you come to this cottage.

We had a fantastic stay at the Eagle’s Nest. Stayed with three couples, 4 kids and dogs and everyone had plenty of space to be comfortable. Each couple had their own full bathroom which was incredible. The kitchen is huge and well-stocked with utensils, pots, pans and appliances. The sun room with the indoor grills was great and that huge table in there made an awesome evening board game table. The water was about as good as Muskoka water can get. The kids loved jumping off the dock. The provided lifejackets, canoes and kayaks gave us plenty of water activities to keep us busy. And that hot tub! So nice to relax in at the end of the day. There are a few minor things that need some attention from the property manager but communication with Henry was always quick and easy and he was very friendly and helpful with anything that we needed. We will definitely stay again! There were a few

Beautiful spacious cottage

We had a great stay at this place. The cottage was clean and spacious. Lake is beautiful and all the canoes kayaks and peddle boats that we had were clean and in very good shape. The owner is very prompt in answering any questions you may have during the stay. The only downside we had was we couldn’t use the hot tub as it took forever to get the warm temperature. The water pressure was a bit low on few occasions. Not a huge issue but some of the lights were missing on the stovetop. But other than that the stay was very comfortable. Will definitely book this again if needed in future. One other note - double check the garbage collection locations. The one that listed in their brochure refused to take our garbage saying the cottage did not fall in their area.

Spring Getaway

We were a group of 10 senior women. The “cottage” accommodated us beautifully. Spacious bedrooms, two with full ensuite bathrooms, & 2 other full bathrooms. Kitchen was large & very well equipped. Cottage was an easy 1km walk to the Big Chute Marine Railway. The first impression, when you walked in was “WOW”. As we were there, though, you could see where aspects of the building needed some TLC: outside chairs in bad need of painting, upper deck gave some concerns as to how sturdy it was and some of the boards were in need of replacement. A hot tub advertised as being there. There is one, absolutely unusable. The cottage was VERY clean. However, we did run into an issue our 2nd night when went to run dishwasher. Under the sink it was leaking out and all over the floor. So it wasn’t usable (although property mgr very quick to be in touch & assure us they would be out next day. So the 2 sinks near dishwasher now unusable. There was a 3rd smaller sink in the island. Were able to use it but definitely heard gurgling back in main sink when we did.Couple of suggestions: provide a couple of dishcloths instead of one sponge, more tea towels (were only 2…not enough when doing dishes for 10), paper towel…there was half a roll & it didn’t take long to get used up. Book with instructions would be useful.Overall, it was fine…the cleanliness and roominess made up for smaller issues. Henry was very responsive. I asked for an earlier check-in which he accommodated. I would recommend.
