Perfect spot
This home was perfect for us! My husband and I loved being far enough away from the crowded city, but still close enough (about 5 minutes) and easy to get in to Astoria. The house was immaculate. Kitchen fully stocked. Jackie has thought of everything. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend.

About the host

Hosted by Jackie Riekkola

Host profile image
I farmed this property, known as Lewis and Clark Seed Co. with my husbands family The Riekkolas from Finland . He and I modified the barn to raise sheep for meat and Wool. I love sharing the farm experience with the community every chance I get. So turning this into a vacation rental made sense.

Why they chose this property

People drive here and park and sit, watching the birds, and sheep. It draws you away from it all to and beckons you to return. It has so much just minutes from great food, art , music, and community.

What makes this property unique

Experience the fully stocked 1950 Vintage Kitchen or go out just minutes away. Our dining variety is like none other for a small community. Hike the hills in Astoria and see the rich Architecture then hit the BlueScorcher Bakery, or the 14th st Coffee House. The cottage is centrally located between Astoria, the Beach and Seaside. Or just stay put and watch the sheep lamb in the Spring, get sheared inthe Fall, or the geese fly in to the fields.
