When we arrived, the apartment was not ready because of a plumbing problem four levels to the house with very steep difficult stairs. This was in no way advertised.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry that your arrival did not go as planned. As explained at the time, the issue was caused by the previous guest improperly disposing of sanitary items in the toilet, which resulted in an unexpected plumbing blockage that required a full replacement. This was an unforeseen situation and was addressed as quickly as possible. To minimise disruption to your stay, we immediately arranged and covered an upgrade for you to a larger, more luxurious 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom property in the same area at no additional cost. Once the issue was fully resolved, you were able to return to the original property. We always aim to provide clear and detailed check-in information, including Wi-Fi access and property instructions, all of which were shared prior to arrival. Our team remained available throughout your stay to assist. We would also note that the property was not left in accordance with the checkout instructions provided, which created operational challenges for incoming guests the same day. We regret that despite our efforts to resolve the situation promptly and upgrade your accommodation, your experience did not meet expectations.
