Thornwick Bay Holiday Village has all the ingredients needed for a great stay by the sea. You can do as little or as much as you like on this pretty part of the Yorkshire coast. You can splash and swim in the pool, grab a bite to eat and hit the dancefloor all in one day if you wish. The site has a packed schedule of activities and water sports! There’s also a sand and pebble beach nearby, perfect for rock pooling and paddling, and beautiful clifftop walks around the headland.

Barn Owl Lodge is the epitome of a modern and chic holiday getaway by the coast; it has 3 bedrooms - a master double bed, 2 twin bedrooms, and also a double pull out sofabed in the living room - sleeping up to 8 people. The holiday home is only a few years old and has been carefully designed to meet our guests high standards and to keep up with modern trends. Elegant soft furnishings have been added to give the home an extra touch of comfort. Barn Owl Lodge is complete with a spacious living area incorporating an open plan kitchen/ diner, bathroom facilities, gas, water, electric, Wifi, Smart TV, private decking area and free on-site private parking.

We had a very enjoyable few days away perfect 👌

The caravan itself was lovely and spacious, very well equipped and in an ideal location for us to go on long walks with our dog who also loved his time and settled in very well in the caravan loving his time looking out the window watching the world go by 😁

On arrival the property smelt of sweat, the flooring throughout the caravan was dirty, to the extent there were false eyelashes on the carpet, bits of noodles, and other food particles, there were also cobwebs throughout, and the windows and mirrors had handprints so hadnt been cleaned. we had to clean up before we could even unpack, and the light in the bathroom was damaged, and the clothes dryer broken thrown in the corner of the dining area, the cups in the cupboard were all stained inside, so needed bleaching, also when coming to use items for the oven they still had remnants of someone elses food on them, it was a mess, not what we wanted for our holiday break.
