Wanstead has truly captured my heart. It’s one of those rare places in London that feels like a village but has everything you need right on your doorstep. From the tree-lined streets and independent shops to the friendly faces in every café, Wanstead offers a real sense of community that’s hard to find elsewhere in the city.
I love how connected it is—you can be in Central London in under 25 minutes, yet still come home to peace, greenery, and a slower pace of life. The high street is always buzzing with local energy, whether it’s the weekend market, a pop-up event, or just people enjoying brunch in the sun.
What makes it extra special to me are the beautiful green spaces. Wanstead Park is one of my favourite spots—it’s perfect for a morning walk, a family picnic, or simply getting some fresh air. There’s a calmness here that makes you instantly feel at ease.
Whether you’re visiting for a few days or staying a while, I hope you’ll fall in love with Wanstead just like I did.
