Enjoy your stay at Marazul Dive Resort unit 5A. This is a 1 Bedroom unit with a Convertible sofa couch(s), 2 Bath, Sleeps 3
This is the place to stay for a private relaxing vacation on beautiful Curacao! Two dive platforms provide divers and snorkelers with easy access to coral reefs. Gorgeous sand beaches are a short walk or drive away. A lovely swimming pool with ocean view is also yours to use.

This two-story air conditioned townhome features a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, bar and table seating and full-sized refrigerator and microwave. Also on the main level is a comfortable seating area with television, bathroom and convertible bed for a very comfortable additional sleeping area for one or two.

The second level has a master bedroom with a King bed and a second bathroom with shower. This level also includes a fantastic balcony with beautiful ocean views. It's ideal for dining outdoors, relaxing and gazing at the amazing sunsets each evening.

Plentiful linens and towels are provided and free WiFi is available throughout the unit and resort. You will have everything you need for an unforgettable stay on beautiful Curacao!

Marazul Dive Resort is a privately owned, gated community with stunning views, optimal location, and relaxed atmosphere. Divers and snorkelers will love the easy access to beautiful coral reefs, but non divers will also love the serenity, beauty and plentiful activities nearby.

Dolphins can be seen playing just off shore from the overlooking bluff and two National Parks are nearby with great opportunites to explore this beautiful area. Several excellent restaurants are a short walk away.

The bungalow was amazing! The kitchen had everything we needed, from glassware to a crock pot the we used to make a pork roast for New Years Day dinner. Everything worked inside the property and the sunset views were spectacular. Perfect holiday, and the property manager and host checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Lovely property. Owner has great communications and obviously tries very hard to make it as nice and comfortable as possible. Even has help onsite if needed. Great area. Nice community. Very tranquil and made my stress melt away within a few hours. Would love to stay again.

Great location away from the business of the city, great snorkeling just below from the stairs, access to all the best beaches on the island, and beautiful condos. The views are amazing. The host was SO responsive to all of our questions and her condo is equipped with everything we needed. It felt like home! Also, great restaurants close by. Overall, wonderful place. We would not stay anywhere else on the island. Can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful condo in Marazul Dive Resort, conveniently located by but not on top of the pool. Owner was very prompt and thorough with all communications. My only suggestion for improvements would be to offer some type of cart or trolley to transport luggage/scuba gear from the parking lot to the unit.

It was everything we had hoped for and more. The property had everything we needed, including yoga and snorkeling equipment, and provided easy access to great snorkeling/swimming sites both on property and nearby. We spent a few days in Williamstad, and driving back and forth was no problem. We also visited the two nearby national parks and hiked Mt Christoffel (followed by a refreshing plunge in the ocean. Carolyn’s instructions were spot on, and Lex made us feel right at home. We will be back!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Marazul 5A.Endroit calme et sécuritaire, pour amateurs de tuba ou de plongée. L'emplacement est magnifique. Le logement était en parfaite condition et tel que décrit, ou encore mieux. Propriétaire fiable. L'eau est parfaitement claire, beaucoup de poissons et de corail, surtout dans le bas de la falaise qui longe l'hôtel. Plusieurs plages à proximité à quelques minutes d'auto, de marche ou de snorkeling. 2 centres de plongée à proximité. Plusieurs restaurants à proximité, mais assez chers. L'idéal est de manger chez soi le matin et le midi, petites épiceries à 15 minutes d'accès. Nous rêvons d'y retourner.

Incredible and Magical place

Oh man where do I start, if you're looking for a place to stay that is low key and immaculately kept, this is the place for you! Incredible diving right off the property, and 5-15 minutes away from most beaches on this side of the island and about a 30-40 minute drive into town. The dive shop is 5 minutes away and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor space to dry out your gear post dives! HIGHLY recommend, my wife and I will be returning in the near future!

Ideal Spot for Scuba Diver's Getaway

Marazul was perfectly situated on Curacao for a scuba diving vacation. Close to all the great dive sites on the Sabana Westpunt end of the island, including the two at Marazul resort itself. The condo was clean and well-stocked with all the basics. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Carolyn was incredibly accommodating and responsive - replying within minutes of any inquiry. We would stay here again if we return to Curacao!

Lovely location

Great stay! Some caveats to be aware of for other travelers: there's a gas range (no oven) that works very well as well as pots/pans and toaster oven / microwave / etc, but you'll need to be careful when cooking that you clean thoroughly. Otherwise, the ants will quickly find their way in to clean for you en masse. The pull-out futon is easy to use, but you might not want to sleep on it for an extended stay. The host and property manager were both very responsive and helpful. If you haven't been to Curaçao before (or to this part of the island in particular), make sure you eat at Sol Food early on (open only on weekends and requires reservations) and ask if they have a copy of their print-out guide to the island—it was a great insider's take on where to go.

Perfect relaxing vacation

This is a great place if you want to have a relaxing vacation far from the crowds in a comfort of a modern home, with a picture-perfect view of an emerald lagoon, a light breeze in the evenings, and mesmerizing sunsets. There is no beach at the resort, only two stairs to the water from which you are to swim. You’ll swim in pristine, warm, calm waters, just yourselves and the fish. Although the resort was full at this time of the year (around Christmas), it was still very relaxing and not overcrowded at all. The atmosphere was very homey, with nice, friendly people around. It was our second stay in this resort, in the same unit. Last year, we liked it so much that we decided to come again even for longer. During our two visits to the island we went to a lot of beaches and came to the conclusion that the two closest to the resort – Kleine Knip and Piscado Beach (both about a 5-minute drive) are the best for snorkeling and swimming with the turtles. On Piscado Beach, we often bought fish from fishermen and had a feast at home. The two national parks are also on this end of the island which is handy because it’s better to visit them as early in the day as possible. Our favorite restaurants were also local – Sol Food (opened only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and Playa Forti. The latter is famous for jumping from the cliff (for the brave in heart). The apartment itself was in a very good condition, with new appliances, two full bathrooms, hot water, a/c, ceiling fans, TV and WiFi. Everything worked well. Snorkeling masks, water noodles, beach towels were provided. The “civilization” – the city, Willemstad (a UNESCO heritage site), world class resorts, shops, supermarkets are 45+ minutes away. You’ll definitely need a car.

The property was exactly as described. Perfect for 3-4 people! The location is great. The north end of the island is quiet which is just what we were looking for. The property is walking distance to 3-4 restaurants that were all good. Also, walking distance to a couple of beaches. Beautiful beaches are within a 10-15 drive. A car is a must and driving is very easy. We found it easiest to grocery shop at the market in Barber (15 min) instead of going all the way back to Willemstad (40 min) might be a little more expensive but saves a lot of time!! We loved it here and can't wait to return!

Wonderful place

We had a marvelous time at Marazul Dive Resort (which is more like a residential complex with a swimming pool). The townhome looks exactly as on the photos. It is centrally located at the resort and surrounded by beautiful flowers. From the upper terrace you can enjoy the sea view and keep an eye on your children in the pool. The apartment is very well equipped. We used a cooler, a grill, beach chairs, and pool noodles. There were plenty of towels, including the beach ones. To our surprise all towels were changed for clean ones in the middle of our stay. Both beds (a king size bed upstairs and the queen sofa-bed downstairs) are extremely comfortable. We ate several times at a nearby restaurant Playa Forti. We liked their passion fruit and mango smoothies and especially their delicious fish soup. It’s so consistent and the portion is so big it can be lunch by itself. Carolyn sent us a detailed information about the resort and the island well in advance, and her representative who lives at the resort permanently gave us even more local information and took time to answer all our question. A large map and a lot of brochures about the island which we found in a drawer were helpful as well. The resort looked very safe to us. Our favorite beach was Klein Knip (10-min drive from Marazul). It’s a cozy beach with plenty of shade and was not so crowded. The lagoon is wonderful for snorkeling - a lot of fish near the rocks at both sides of the lagoon. We also recommend visiting Shete Boca National Park, the Ostrich Farm and take the Aquafari underwater scooter ride. During our 9-day stay we visited many parts of the island and came to conclusion that if you want a relaxing vacation in a picturesque environment with swimming in a clear emerald water at your doorsteps Marazul Dive Resort is probably the best place. The city life and large resorts are 40+ minutes away. We would definitely like to stay at Carolyn’s place again.

We recently stayed at this home for 5 nights in Feb and absolutely love it and it was just what we needed from awesome views and to the pool being right there Great beaches right around the corner everywhere you turn after all it is a Island . The Ocean is Great very clear right off this property and has great snorkling and yes you can jump off cliff but be carefully. The people vacationing here are very friendly and there is also a shop for renting kayaks to small items if you don't want to run to a store. The Home owner was very Nice and informed us of up todate Arrival and even had someone meet us to make sure we did not need anything and was very informative on things to do. This Go,s along way in my book . That made are trip Smooth and met our Expectations . I highly recommend this place for your next Dream Vacation!! Thank you

Snorkelling Paradise

We loved our 2 week stay at Marazul. Carolyn was very helpful before our arrival with information and even arranged for an iron to be purchased for the unit when I inquired as to whether or not one was there. Her local unit manager Lex was very helpful and fixed a few minor issues we had with screens and an electrical outlet very promptly and efficiently. The unit is well equipped and clean. Our only complaint was the small biting bugs that effected my husband's enjoyment more than mine. We bought and used bug spray but it wasn't very effective on these pests. I used aloe lotion as a body moisturizer and that seemed to keep them at bay. The people we met were all very friendly and helpful. The island itself is beautiful. From our location we had excellent access to several beaches that all provided great snorkelling opportunities. My favourite was snorkelling with the sea turtles at Playa Grandi which we could access on foot from Marazul. We also had easy access to great restaurants in the area. The open hours seemed to change regularly so not always easy to predict which night to eat out. We found phoning for reservations was the only way to ensure when a restaurant was open. Some we knew were only open on weekends but still required a reservation. Overall we would highly recommend this location and rental!
