Stunning Coastal Cottage - Sleeping 5 in 2 Bedrooms - Pool and Beach Access Included.

Welcome to Beachside Cottage - Part of The Bay Filey Holiday Village (see below for more information).

Featuring a new bathroom and kitchen in 2024, this is a lovely seaview cottage (from the king bedroom) and ideal for families.

Enter into the hallway with access to the downstairs cloak / WC. Walk through into the large open plan lounge. dining room and fully fitted kitchen (new in 2024) including full size fridge freezer, dishwasher and other integrated appliances. Please note the property does not have a washing machine.

Upstairs the property comprises of 1 king-size bedroom with Juliette Balcony (seaview) and 1 twin bedroom with a large family bathroom with large walk in shower (new 2024)

Off the lounge area are bifold doors opening onto a private furnished patio with seating and brick built BBQ, surrounded by large, shared garden and landscaped grounds.

Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).

We leave a few games for our guests to use. This warm and cosy house is ideal for breaks all year round.

This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Lovely stay at Beachside Cottage

Our first visit to The Bay, Filey and look forward to returning. Cottage very clean with everything we needed. Comfy beds with crisp white bedding. Excellent shower room and kitchen. Comfortable living area with bifold doors was a lovely feature during the hot weather. Excellent location close to the beach walk - ideal for dogs.

Seaside holiday

A lovely cottage , very clean. Home from home . This was our second visit with my young grandchildren. The addition of the swimming pool was a bonus.

Our 4th visit to the bay and we all love it !! Guaranteed a beautiful home away from home Good facilities great location easy parking reasonable prices at the shop and restaurant We come as the scout our dog loves it although this time he struggled with the hill to the beach but we found other ways for him to have a great time Back next year

Comfortable, Cosy Cottage

Lovely Cottage in a great location. Loved the little homely touches that made it feel warm and cozy, just like being at home, great facilities, fast so-Fi, amazing shower and comfy beds, highly recommended and hope to return

Easter break

Lovely cottage and well positioned for access to the beach path. Used the onsite pool and shop. The cottage was clean and well kept. Good communication prior to and during the stay. Would recommend

Great location, roomy and dog friendly

We loved our stay at Beachside cottage and the property is spacious very clean and with the most gorgeous bathroom and kitchen. Bed really comfortable and close to the walkway down to the beach. Great TV reception and WIFI so we were able to stay connected and use smart TV facilities.

Great half term break!

Great short break, with the kids and dog. House is located a short walk away from the beach. Good facilities on site. The property was very clean and is very well maintained, would stay again.

Beachside Cottage

Excellent all round. Well furnished, comfortable beds, spacious interior and good location for beach and amenities. I would suggest improving kitchen utensils like a sieve or colander, spatulas and a bigger frying pan. Would definitely stay there again and recommend the property to friends.

Lovely property in a super location.

Beachside Cottage has everything you could need for a comfortable stay at the coast. The property was clean and well equipped, with an open plan living area downstairs. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. The walk-in shower and downstairs washroom were particularly useful. The cottage is located at the edge of the resort, close to the start of the tarmacked path leading to the wonderful sandy beach.

Great cottage, great location, wonderful holiday!

The Beachside Cottage had everything we could ask for and more. It was well equipped with utensils, cooking equipment, coffee machine etc. We received a welcome pack with tea, coffee, dishwasher tabs etc. and a stick of rock which my little girl was super excited about! The cottage was clean and tidy, with plenty of space. Storage in the bedroom was great, plenty of space to put everything away. The location of the property is close by for the park, pool, arcades, pub, and walk to the beach. We will certainly be returning in the future and would recommend this property! Thanks for a great holiday.

Great stay!

We’ve been to The Bay a few times now and this was one of the best houses we’ve stayed in. Location is spot on, right on the last row before the beach! House was beaut, I noticed before we went they there has been a refurb of the kitchen and bathroom a few years ago, only thing missing was washing machine, probs more beneficial during summer months especially with trips to the beach. Everywhere was spotless, beds comfy, clean and tidy. The only prob we encountered was me struggling with the patio doors but I called and a lady was there within 5 mins and it was all sorted! The Bay site itself was lovely although the cleanliness of the swimming pool was poor. We only went once and that was enough. Dirty changing rooms, things floating in the water it was just dirty. I did mention to the lifeguard on the way out Overall it was a lovely week, I’ll deffo look at booking this cottage again, couldn’t fault it!

Lovely holiday cottage near the beach path

We had a great stay. The house had everything you need in terms of kitchen equipment etc. It was spotless. The location is perfect, near the beach path and onsite facilities which is ideal. The sea views from the master bedroom are an added bonus. If we had one niggle it was that the beds in the second room are a little uncomfortable for adults but would be fine for kids but this didnt hinder in any way. Parking was a little frustrating as all parking spaces are shared but all properties used them up or parked so that no other cars could park but this is a resort issue not the homes. We will be booking again soon, the reduced price brought it ti what was a fair price, any higher would have taken it above value we feel. All in all it's a gem of a place and we look forward to staying again soon.

Fabulous house excellent quality

What a fabulous house . Beautifully decorated with high end quality interiors and furniture . The house was in such a good position on the road to the beach literally a minute away. Lovely and quiet even with people Walking by down to the beach . This is a great quality park. We are considering booking for New Year providing that a is no fireworks as our gig can’t cope with them and from what I have read they don’t allow them, hopefully .. The Juliette balcony in the main bedroom looking out to the bay is gorgeous. There was a few more things in the kitchen but we came well equipped as we only booked a couple of days away to go to Scarborough outdoor theatre, so would recommend putting together a few more useful things in the kitchen maybe for visitors. . We would have preferred a seat and table outdoors but these are picky things sorry also it is a bit of stop down out of the lively bonus of the bi folding doors and as my husband pointed out if the houses where built now they would have to have a step put in (yep he’s in the building trade ) We did find a dirty sock under the sofa as well and sticky finger marks on the Juliette glass window which I cleaned off. Also we only had one hand towel for four people, usually we have always had the same amount of hand towels and bath towels for each person! Highly recommend that should be in place ! Otherwise overall the property is outstanding and we will definitely be back . Filey Bay holiday park is amazing and on our doorstep of our beautiful county .. Pity about the restaurant being closed and maybe a deli/cafe/ bistro would be a great addition on the park . The pub is ok but it just needs that little bit more. Highly recommended for a stay for sure .
