We could not get the thermostat working, even with the instructions above it. The fuse box was inspected and everything was in working order. The heating is crucial during winter months!The stairs were also a bit steep to be moving luggage up and down, and the construction in the outdoor foyer/patio was a bit dangerous with gaps and uneven surfaces. To be fair, they did show pictures in the listing to make guests aware, but the pictures don’t do the conditions justice. All in all, the apartment was clean and in good condition. You can tell they service it well and take pride in this listing.

Because of the good reviews and the photos in the listing I selected this property, when many other properties were far better, price and location wise. The condition has changed greatly since the pictures were taken and totally unrepresentative of the actual condition. Entry way unsafe, stains, scuffs, dents, and damaged walls, blinds, couch etc. I'll let the photos that I took during my stay speak for themselves. A real disappointment

We are delighted with our decision, Check-in was supposed to be at 3pm, but we found out a few hours before that the place wouldn't be available until 4pm, It was a bit frustrating considering we had informed the host weeks ago about our international flight, arriving at 11am, Nonetheless, I would recommend staying here! The stairs to the apartment have broken and temporary flimsy stairs have been installed. It was a struggle to go up to the apartment with the suitcases. And the temporary metal stairs are fully exposed to rain, and when it was rainy, it was very very slippery and I slipped down a few stairs and injured my back (may need to get a medical scan done when I am back in US ). The stairs shown in photos is NOT the same as the dangerous stairs that actually exist. Attached is the photo of the stairs now.But, this is totally unacceptable and a very unsafe place. Also:1. When other building occupants climb up the stairs (in the middle of the night), there is loud thudding sound from the stairs shaking and its very very disturbing2. There is construction going on in the building and there is loud drilling and hammering sound starting early in the morning and going in throughout the day.Would never recommend this place to anyone till the stairs are fixed and construction is complete. Very unsafe. This apartment should be delisted till the stairs are fixed.

Lovely apartment that looks just like the pictures but the quality of the amenities fell short for us: The glass door of bedroom 1 wouldn't close, hooks in the bathroom were ripped out, kitchen supplies were very basic: we couldn't find a sponge for washing dishes, only 4 wine glasses even though the apartment accommodates 6 people, a leaking coffee maker, and a damp bay window, The location was perfect for our girls' trip but might be a bit confusing for a family due to the historic street's presence of 'working girls' and potential noise at night, Note for late risers: I missed the early 10 am check-out time which was a bit too early for a Sunday, and we couldn't extend our stay by an hour or two, The host is quick to respond to requests and questions via messages,

Die Lage ist gut, wenn man Bars und Nachtleben mag – aber es handelt sich um ein Partyviertel, das für Familien ungeeignet ist. Es wirkt rau und unsicher, besonders nachts. Die Wohnung ist geräumig, aber das war es dann auch schon mit den positiven Aspekten. Sie war nicht sauber (schmutzige Couch und Kissen, Staub unter den Betten, der Teppich müsste gereinigt werden). Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht, Warmwasser gab es nur sehr selten und der Wasserdruck war schwach. Es war extrem laut – die ganze Nacht über Lärm von der Straße und den Leuten über uns, also erwarten Sie keinen erholsamen Schlaf. Die Treppe war im Bau und wurde durch eine steile Metalltreppe ersetzt, die unsicher wirkte und mit Gepäck sehr schwierig zu begehen war. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft den Preis nicht wert und ich würde sie nicht empfehlen – insbesondere nicht für Familien. Die Kommunikation war sehr schlecht. Das Unternehmen hat uns über die VRBO-App überhaupt nicht kontaktiert. Wir landeten in Paris ohne jegliche Check-in-Informationen und mussten den Hausverwalter direkt ausfindig machen und anrufen. Kein guter Start in den Urlaub – sehr stressig und unprofessionell.

Die Treppe zur Wohnung ist kaputt und wurde durch eine provisorische, wackelige Treppe ersetzt. Es war mühsam, mit den Koffern in die Wohnung zu gelangen. Die provisorische Metalltreppe ist dem Regen schutzlos ausgeliefert und war bei Regen extrem rutschig. Ich bin ein paar Stufen hinuntergerutscht und habe mir den Rücken verletzt (zum Glück nicht schlimm und ich brauchte keine ärztliche Behandlung). Das ist absolut inakzeptabel und die Wohnung ist sehr unsicher. Außerdem: 1. Wenn andere Bewohner (mitten in der Nacht) die Treppe hochgehen, ist ein lautes, wackelndes Geräusch zu hören, das sehr störend ist. 2. Im Gebäude finden Bauarbeiten statt, die von früh morgens bis spät abends laute Bohr- und Hämmergeräusche verursachen. Ich würde diese Wohnung niemandem empfehlen, bis die Treppe repariert und die Bauarbeiten abgeschlossen sind. Sehr unsicher.
