A beautiful group accommodation on the water in Rotterdam center
Attractive modern accommodation in Rotterdam city center with 6 bedrooms, each with a private bathroom.
Rooms on Water is a 40-meter long ship, whose hold was converted in 2017 into a beautiful group accommodation for standard 12 people.
All 6 bedrooms have a private bathroom with shower and underfloor heating. In these cozy bedrooms there is air conditioning (hot/cold), and opening porthole (round window), underfloor heating and a wardrobe. There are 2 single beds, which we can convert into double beds on request.
The living room is very attractive and cozy. With a large glass wall along the indoor entrance, two large koekoeken (wooden skylights with glass), several robust oak tables and an old wooden carpenter's workbench, the atmosphere is warm industrial. You can make yourself comfortable here. Hang out on the lounge sofa, play games at a table, or cook as a group, slide the tables together and have a wonderful dinner.
Above the living room on deck is the roof terrace. Here you can enjoy the evening and the city dynamics.

About the host
Hosted by Moniek van der Werff
Hello my name is Moniek van der Werff and I am the owner of the ship Wilhelmina, better known as Rooms on Water. I sailed with guests on a former barge for many years. In winter, we rented it out as a group accommodation and b&b in Rotterdam. I liked that so much that I converted this ship and rented it out full time in the centre of Rotterdam. I live on board in the former skipperhouse.
Why they chose this property
The ship is right in the centre of Rotterdam, a top location! Everything is close by, but it can also be very quiet. Guests can enjoy the beautiful view over the port.
What makes this property unique
Rooms on Water is an old ship. She was built in 1913 and beautifully converted in 2017 into an atmospheric holiday home with nautical details, It's surprising how fully equipped it is, incl. air conditioning, underfloor heating and WiFi....
