Meldon View was a nice stay and had all of the comforts of home, 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, laundry, living room and a huge deck out back.Chagford is great, Folks are friendly and the surroundings are beautiful. Everything you need is within a block or so. Grocery store, Butcher, Pharmacy, Produce stand, Wine/beer/liquor store, Pubs/Restaurants, a great merchantile with a bit of everything from clothes and shoes to hardware and housewares, book store, art galleries and other shops. There are tons of great walks leaving on foot or take a short drive and go to other trailheads. We have fallen in love with the area and will def be back.

A very nice place and ideally situated.
Lovely and warm, which is needed in January. Nit -picking but in need of a vegetable knife. Also, somewhat misleading to say there is a fireplace as it is non-working. Otherwise, everything we needed; a very enjoyable stay which we would definitely repeat.
