Your holiday home is located in a picturesque, ochre-hued hamlet on the slopes of Mont Ventoux, just 3 km from Bédoin.
“Chez Marius” pays homage to Marcel Pagnol (French director) and the history of this house, which was a bakery some 100 years ago. During the renovation, we preserved the bread oven facade to preserve its charm of yesteryear.
The house offers all modern comforts, with 3 spacious 50 m² suites, each with private bathroom, and 2 bedrooms opening onto a terrace with breathtaking views of Mont Ventoux or the Dentelles de Montmirail valley. All beds are 5* hotel quality.
Interior and equipment: First floor: A cosy living room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen (American fridge, Nespresso, dishwasher...), a dining room opening onto a patio. The patio features a sofa area, outdoor table, outdoor shower and refreshing pool (heated in May, June, September and October at extra charge).
1st floor: Two suites with adjustable single beds (180x200 cm), private bathrooms and terrace access.
2nd floor: One suite with king-size bed, private bathroom, relaxation area with fireplace, and a magnificent roof terrace (Fermob sofas, outdoor table, plancha, and summer kitchen).
Covered parking and a secure bike storage area complete the package.
In a charming ochre-tinted hamlet, just 3 km from the village of Bédoin, Les Baux de Bédoin welcomes you to a peaceful setting where life is good.
In June, July, August and early September, enjoy a bar and restaurant on site. All year round, a mobile grocery store comes twice a week, and 1.5 km away, in the hamlet of Sainte-Colombe, a baker offers bread baked in a wood-fired oven. Just a few minutes away, the lively village of Bédoin (3 km) offers a multitude of restaurants, bars, bike rental stores, supermarket, brocantes and home decoration stores. Don't miss its magnificent Provencal market every Monday morning!
The region is full of treasures to discover: Vaison-la-Romaine, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and its antique dealers, Carpentras, Orange, Avignon (35 km away), as well as the lavender fields of Sault and typical Luberon villages like Gordes, Roussillon or Bonnieux. Not forgetting the many picturesque Provencal villages that await you along the way.
To cool off, a small pool is available in the courtyard (can be heated in April, May, June, September and October at extra cost). Covered parking and a secure bike storage area are also available.
