The property was really fun to stay in. The twin room "upstairs" is accessible only by the wrought iron spiral staircase and not connected to the rest of the house. The kitchen was our gathering place--big table and great surroundings. The home is very lived-in and personal, not just decorated from a catalog; that made it nice. Sykes Cottages took over the reservation communication after the VRBO deposit and didn't answer any questions. We were given a code to enter upon confirmation; it was still valid 4 months later. We were reluctant, but it worked. Great back yard w/football goal for kids and fire building in the elevated bowl was fun.
