Apartment Dudre of Ca'Lupetta, Ticino Park

A small, fully equipped, independent, modern, and functional studio apartment with a spacious terrace. Nestled in a green setting, between the river, fields, and woods of the Ticino Park, on a 15,000-square-meter property with 2,000 blueberry plants. On-site parking, garden with a barbecue, near the area where our chickens roost, and a ping-pong table in the shade of the hazelnut trees.

The space
Ca’Lupetta has been my home and my daughter’s home ever since I left Milan. I live here with our dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, surrounded by our 2,000 blueberry plants and the woods. Even though we’re just 10 minutes from the towns and tourist attractions of Lakes Maggiore and Orta, 10 minutes from the highway, and 15 minutes from Malpensa, our immediate neighbors are a hayfield, forests, the Ticino Valley, and the horses on the neighbouring farm. I wanted to dedicate part of my large home to three small but comfortable and completely independent and self-contained apartments, equipped with all the amenities not always considered “obvious” in a country home, to provide every amenity not only for those on a traditional agritourism holiday but also for those travelling or staying for business.
Other things to keep in mind
The most important thing for me when travelling is “1) having everything I have at home; 2) sleeping comfortably!” Easy, right? It’s all relative (and not that simple to provide, even though I think—and hope—I’ve come close!), but comfort shouldn’t be compromised. That’s why I’ve made rest a top priority. Rather than a sleeper sofa, I searched for and selected a real bed that also doubles as a sofa. So you’ll sleep on a 20-cm-thick mattress, Made in Italy, on a sofa that opens (and closes) easily and smoothly.
To reach the apartment, you’ll need a car, as the area isn’t well-served by public transport.
