Checked in to unmade beds, wet towels, dirty sheets, and unwashed dishes. I'm pretty sure something went wrong with the lack of cleaning/preparation. Too bad as it made such a bad impression that is took away from our time in Oslo.

I’m truly sorry for the poor first impression upon your arrival. Unfortunately, there was a rare error in our cleaning provider’s scheduling system, which caused the apartment to not be prepared before your check-in. This is far from our usual standard, as the apartment is normally spotless and fully ready for guests.
Once we became aware of the issue, we immediately arranged for a full cleaning — including washing all bed linen, making the beds, and tidying the apartment — but I understand this meant your check-in was delayed by a couple of hours. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused.
We have also refunded the cleaning fee for your stay as a gesture of apology.
Thank you for your understanding, and I hope the rest of your stay was more enjoyable.
