You’ll also find a state-of-the-art kitchen, equipped with all the latest appliances, offering a unique view directly across from the Ghirlandina.
Alvaro’s House offers heating and air conditioning, walnut parquet flooring, two bedrooms—one of which overlooks the Church of Sant’Agostino—and a spacious bathroom; original stained-glass windows, and many original 19th-century furnishings.

Alberto was an excellent host. He personally guided us to a parking spot in the ZTL zone in Modena. Then arranged a delightful meal at Ristretto next door. The room was terrific. We really appreciated the convenience of the location and close proximity to things we wanted to see and do. Best view from the kitchen window ever! Lovely place. We definitely would stay again!

My son and his family stayed there. Very convenient to restaurants and the train station. A/C worked well, beds were comfortable. Not too far from Orfeo's house, where we stayed.

A Perfect Home Base in Modena!This apartment was the ideal home away from home for our stay in Modena. Quiet and peaceful, yet an easy walk to all the sights, bars, and restaurants of Modena's charming historic center — and a straightforward walk to the train station too, which made day trips around Emilia-Romagna effortless.Our hosts went above and beyond — they saved us a parking spot and even helped carry our luggage. That kind of thoughtfulness set the tone for the whole visit.Modena itself turned out to be a superb destination and a fantastic hub for exploring the region, whether by car or by train (we did both!). We loved having a wonderful little pasticceria nearby for morning pastries, and our evening passeggiate through the surrounding streets became a favorite ritual — Modena quickly became one of our favorite cities in Italy.We'd return in a heartbeat and recommend this place enthusiastically to anyone visiting Modena.

The place was beautiful

The Property Owner was very responsive and had a very clean house period it was one of the most beautiful places we stayed on our 30 day European trip period the AC worked great in the beds were comfortable thank you

Alvaro's house was amazing and very clean. The attention and help he provided to my family and me was outstanding. We only stayed for one night, but I wish we could have stayed a few more days. The city of Modena is beautiful, I fell in love with both Alvaro's house and the city. Everything was absolutely wonderful!
